Introduction. The “Shestvia (Procession) Journal” is one of the most common monuments of the historical narrative of the Peter the Great era. This monument has been published many times, but still does not have a scientific publication, and its handwritten tradition has practically not been studied. Methods and materials. This work examines the manuscripts of the “Shestvia Journal” in the funds of the Department of Manuscripts of the National Library of Russia. Analysis. The study of the literary “convoy” of historical collections about Peter the Great makes it possible to establish that the “Shestvia Journal” was assigned a strictly defined place in the narrative about the initial period of the reign of Peter the Great: in 42 collections it was directly connected with the texts of the “Notes” by A.A. Matveev, and only in eight lists had a separate existence. Results. Observations on the manuscripts of the “Shestvia Journal” held in the collections of the Manuscripts Department of the National Library of Russia allow us to hypothesize that the journal was created not as an independent work, but as part of a cycle of texts devoted to the early history of the reign of Peter the Great. This cycle, along with the magazine, included “The Legend of the Conception and Birth of... Emperor Peter the Great”, as well as the work of Count AA. Matveev on the rifle riots of 1682 and 1698

Introduction. “Detailed Chronicle from the beginning of Russia to the Battle of Poltava” is a large-scale compilation that sets out the history of Russia from the historiographic positions of the middle of the 18th century. This monument was published at the end of the 18th century, but still does not have a scientific publication, and its manuscript tradition has not been sufficiently studied. Methods and materials. In this paper, a previously unknown manuscript of the “Detailed Chronicle” from the collections of the Department of Manuscripts of the National Library of Russia is introduced into scientific circulation. Analysis. A study of the text of the “Detailed Chronicle” according to this list reveals that we have before us a new type of monument, outlining the events of Russian history before 1700. List from the collection of Prince P.P. Vyazemsky contains an indication of one of the main sources of the “Detailed Chronicle”, which researchers ignore – “Moscow History” by Gottlieb Samuil Treyer. The work covered the period of Russian history from the 1460s to 1617. G.S. Treyer was written on the basis of the achievements of historiography at the beginning of the 18th century. using the methods of scientific criticism of sources. The author compared, critically comprehended the works of foreign authors about Russia, while preference was given to the news of those authors “who lived in the city of Moscow and saw Russian notebooks.” Treyer’s history, published in Germany in 1720, was translated into Russian only in 1741. Results. In our opinion, it was the translation of Treyer’s work that became the catalyst for the creation of the “Detailed Chronicle” in 1744. “The Moscow History” by G.S. Treyer became the basis for the first part of the compilation, outlining the history of Russia up to 1617. Towards Drinfeld-Sokolov reduction for quantum groups

In this paper we study the Poisson-Lie version of the Drinfeld-Sokolov reduction defined in q-alg/9704011, q-alg/9702016. Using the bialgebra structure related to the new Drinfeld realization of affine quantum groups we describe reduction in terms of constraints. This realization of reduction admits direct quantization. As a byproduct we obtain an explicit expression for the symplectic form associated to the twisted Heisenberg double and calculate the moment map for the twisted dressing action. For some class of infinite-dimensional Poisson Lie groups we also prove an analogue of the Ginzburg-Weinstein isomorphism.Comment: 30 pages, LaTeX 2

Some Words About Cryptographic Key Recognition In Data Streams

    Get PDF
Search for cryptographic keys in RAM is a new and prospective technology which can be used, primarily, in the computer forensics. In order to use it, a cryptanalyst must solve, at least, two problems: to create a memory dump from target machine and to distinguish target cryptographic keys from other data. The latter leads to a new mathematical task: >. The complexity of this task significantly depends on target cryptoalgorithm. For some algorithms (i.e. AES or Serpent) this task is trivial but for other ones it may be very hard. In this work we present effective algorithms of expanded key recognition for Blowfish and Twofish. As far as we know this task for these algorithms has never been considered before

Theoretical backgrounds of nonlinear THz spectroscopy of semiconductor superlattices

We consider terahertz absorption and gain in a single miniband of semiconductor superlattice subject to a bichromatic electric field in the most general case of commensurate frequencies of the probe and pump fields. Using an exact solution of Boltzmann transport equation, we show that in the small-signal limit the formulas for absorption always contain two distinct terms related to the parametric and incoherent interactions of miniband electrons with the alternating pump field. It provides a theoretical background for a control of THz gain without switching to the negative differential conductivity state. For pedagogical reasons we present derivations of formulas in detail.Comment: 14 page
