    В работе описано исследование влияния многостенных (многослойных) углеродных нанотрубок при добавлении (в количестве 5 и 10 %) в различные материалы на их защитные свойства по отношению к гамма-излучению 137Cs (662 кэВ). Определены значения линейного коэффициента ослабления с помощью программы XCOM и проведено их сравнение с измеренными значениями.A study is described of the effect of multi-walled (multilayer) carbon nanotubes when added (in amounts of 5 and 10 %) to various materials on their protective properties with respect to 137Cs gamma radiation (662 keV).     The paper presents the studies’ results of the gamma-ray absorbing properties of concrete with different barite content in its composition in energy range from 1 Kev to 2 MeV.
