    The Role of Jordanian Universities in Applying Fourth Industrial Revolution Principles

    This study aimed to define the degree of applying the Jordanian universities of the Forth Industrial Revolution from the faculty point of view.  To achieve the goal of this study a developed questionnaire established consisting of (46) items distributed to the faculty members numbered (332) in the Jordanian public universities (The University of Jordan, Yarmouk University, and Mutah University). The findings  of this  study shows that the reality applying the Jordanian universities the Fourth Industrial Revolution from the faculty point of view came as follows: The reality knowledge systems in Jordanian universities from the faculty members point of view  was moderate, also reality technical systems in Jordanian universities from faculty members point of view was moderate, and as for the role of Jordanian universities in applying Fourth Revolution principles from the faculty members point of view, the study showed that the role of the faculty member and the role of university administration in Jordanian universities in applying the Fourth Industrial Revolution principles from the faculty member point of view was moderate degree, based on  The results of the study, it recommends that the Jordanian universities are to take an approach that supports the requirements of the information age time limit and the digital revolution in order to contribute in increasing the competence and ability of faculty members to meet the needs of students information and knowledge.     The Role of Language Centers in Jordanian Universities in Spreading a Culture of Cultural Diversity among their Students

    The study aimed to identify the role of language centers in Jordanian universities in spreading a culture of cultural diversity among their students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the survey approach was used to suit the nature of this study, where a questionnaire was designed and distributed to a 400-student sample from Jordanian universities.The results of the study showed that the role of language centers in Jordanian universities in spreading the culture of cultural diversity among their students from the viewpoint of the study sample was at a low level in general, where the field of cultural diversity principles among the faculty members and the field of cultural diversity principles in the field of academic course books ranked first. As for the principles of cultural diversity in the field of university activities, they ranked last. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the study sample estimations of the role of language centers in Jordanian universities in spreading a culture of cultural diversity among their students due to gender and nationality variables.     The Role of the Jordanian High Schools in Deepening Good Citizenship among their Students

    The study aims to identify the role of Jordanian secondary schools in deepening good citizenship among their students. It also examines the obstacles facing Jordanian secondary schools in deepening good citizenship among their students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey approach has been used for its suitability of the nature of this study, where a questionnaire was designed and distributed to a 180-teacher study sample from the Jordanian government schools.The results of the study show that the degree of the role of Jordanian high schools in deepening good citizenship among their students from the standpoint of the study sample is generally medium. It also shows that the school principal’s role in developing good citizenship ranked first and the teacher’s role in developing good citizenship ranked second, followed by the role of activities and courses in developing good citizenship in the last rank. In light of the results of the study, the researchers recommend working on creating an appropriate learning environment that enables teachers to teach citizenship issues to students and provide school libraries with educational books and brochures that deepen and root citizenship values ​​to deal with all segments of society.     Level of Faculty Members’ Tolerance of Cultural Diversity among Students at the University of Jordan from the Students’ Perspective

    هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى تقبل أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في الجامعة الأردنية للتنوع الثقافي بين الطلبة من وجهة نظر الطلبة أنفسهم وعلاقة ذلك ببعض المتغيرات. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي لتحقيق أهدافها، وتم جمع البيانات بواسطة استبانة تم تطويرها بالاعتماد على الدراسات السابقة، وزعت على عينة من طلبة الدراسات العليا في كلية العلوم التربوية، وكلية الملك عبدالله الثاني لتكنولوجيا المعلومات، تكونت من (89) طالباً وطالبة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى تقبل أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في الجامعة الأردنية للتنوع الثقافي من وجهة نظر الطلبة جاءت متوسطة. كما بينت الدراسة أن من أهم مظاهر تقبل أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية للتنوع الثقافي تكمن في احترام الخصوصية الثقافية والدينية للطلبة، والإيمان بتعدد الثقافات، وتقييم الطلبة بشكل موضوعي دون تمييز. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α ≤ 0.05) بين الطلبة تعزى للجنس، ولصالح الذكور، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α ≤ 0.05) تعزى للكلية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بضرورة نشر الوعي بشأن الدور الإيجابي الذي يؤديه التنوع الإيجابي في تحسين البيئة التعليمية، والتفاعل بين الطلبة الذي يثري معارفهم ويسهم في تطوير مهاراتهم، كما أوصت الدراسة بالاستفادة من التنوع الثقافي بين الطلبة وتحويله إلى رأس مال ثقافي ينعم به جميع الطلبة.  الكلمات المفتاحية: التنوع الثقافي، الجامعة الأردنية، طلبة الدراسات العليا.The study aimed at identifying the level of faculty members’ tolerance towards the cultural diversity between the students from the point of view of the students themselves at the University of Jordan and the relationship with some variables. To achieve this objective, the study used the descriptive method. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire developed according to previous studies. It was distributed to a sample of graduate students in the College of Educational Sciences and King Abdullah II College of Information Technology, which consisted of (89) male and female students. The study found out that the level of faculty members’ tolerance of cultural diversity from the students' point of view was medium. The study also showed that one of the most important aspects of the faculty members' tolerance of cultural diversity lies in respecting the cultural and religious specificity of students, believing in multiculturalism, and evaluating students objectively without discrimination. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) among the students attributed to sex, and in favor of males, and there were no statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) attributed to the college. In light of these results, the study recommended that there should be awareness-raising efforts about the positive role played by positive diversity in improving the educational environment and the interaction between students who enrich their knowledge and contribute to the development of their skills. The study also recommended benefiting from cultural diversity among students and transforming it into a cultural capital that all students would enjoy.     Knowledge was associated with human in his early beginning and was developed with him as his awareness was deepened till it reached its highest levels. Nonetheless, what is new nowadays is that it affects socioeconomic life as well as lifestyle in general, due to the technological and scientific evolution and the changes resulted in different life aspects. Whereas, the last twenty five years of the twentieth century faced one of the greatest changes in life; it was the third change after the emergence of agriculture and economy. This change is represented in an evolution in science and high- tech in the fields of electronics, nuclear power, physics, biology, and astronomy. Thus Telecommunication evolution had a pioneer cause of this change; where it enabled the human to seize power of nature to the level that knowledge development factor has the greatest effect on life compared to other factors: natural and physical. Information has become a major and significant economic source; it is also the new strategic source in economic life which supplements natural resources. Information technology, currently, forms the basic element in economic growth. With this huge development of information systems, It became one of the most important aspects of the growth of global economy (Diab, 2004)

    هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور الجامعات الأردنية في تنمية الإبداع لدى طلبتها، من خلال أنماط التعلم الذكية، وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من طلبة مرحلة البكالوريوس في الجامعات الأردنية الحكومية والخاصة للعام الدراسي 2017/2018، وبلغت عينة الدراسة (538) طالبًا وطالبة، وتم استخدام الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، واستخدم المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن دور الجامعات الأردنية في تنمية الإبداع لدى طلبتها من خلال أنماط التعلم الذكية جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى للجنس ولصالح الإناث، ووجود فروق تبعًا لمتغير الكلية، ولصالح الكليات العلمية، فيما جاءت الفروق لمتغير نوع الجامعة، لصالح الجامعات الخاصة. الكلمات المفتاحية: الإبداع، أنماط التعلم الذكية.The study aimed to identify the role of Jordanian universities in developing creativity in students through intelligent learning styles. The study population was undergraduate students in Jordanian public and private universities for the academic year 2017/2018. The study sample consisted of 538 students. To achieve the study objective, the descriptive method was used. The results of the study showed that the role of Jordanian universities in the development of creativity in their students through intelligent learning styles came to a medium degree. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the role of Jordanian universities in developing creativity in their students through intelligent learning patterns due to gender in favor of females. For the college variable, the difference was in favor of science faculties, while differences came to the variable type of university, in favor of private universities.     Abstract: The study aims to reveal the role of social networks in enhancing the national Affiliation among Kuwait University Students. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data. The descriptive analytical methodology was used. A sample has been taken randomly to represent the population of the study. The sample consisted of (310) staff members. The results of the study showed that the role of social networks in enhancing the national affiliation among Kuwait university students was medium. There were no statistically significant differences of role of social networks in enhancing the national affiliation among Kuwait university students due to years of experience and academic qualification.The study recommended that the need to design a strong infrastructure that integrates technology in order to be adopted as an attractive way to enhance students\u27 belonging. ملخص: هدفت الدراسة كشف دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعزيز الانتماء الوطني لدى طلبة جامعة الكويت, إذ تم استخدام الاستبانة أداة لجمع البيانات, في حين تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي, تم اخذ عينة بالطريقة العشوائية لتمثيل مجتمع العينة, تكونت من (310) أعضاء هيئة تدريس. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعزيز الانتماء الوطني لدى طلبة جامعة الكويت جاء بدرجة متوسطة, وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعزيز الانتماء الوطني لدى طلبة جامعة الكويت من وجهة أعضاء هيئة التدريس تعزى لمتغيرات سنوات الخبرة, والمؤهل العلمي, وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تصميم بنية تحتية قوية تدمج التكنولوجيا فيها بهدف اعتمادها كأسلوب جذاب لتعزيز الانتماء لدى الطلبة
