This recent checklist of marine arthropods found on the coasts of Turkey represents a total of 1531 species belonging to 7 classes: Malacostraca (766 species), Maxillopoda (437 species), Ostracoda (263 species), Pycnogonida (27 species), Arachnida (26 species), Branchiopoda (7 species), and Insecta (5 species). Seventy-fve species were classifed as alien species in the region. Tis paper also includes the frst record of the amphipod Melita valesi from the Levantine coast of Turkey (Kaş, Gulf of Antalya). Former employees can maintain claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) without first repaying the consideration received for an invalid release of claims. The Supreme Court\u27s pronouncement, Oubre v. Entergy Operations, Inc., 1988 U.S. Lexis 646 (Jan. 26, 1998), may change the way many employers negotiate and execute severance packages and settlements with terminated employees

In order to determine the seasonal distribution of cladocerans in Izmir Bay, this study was carried out in 2004-2005. Samples were collected from six stations by vertical hauls through integrated water columns (0 m. -bottom) using a WP2 zooplankton net with a mesh size of 200 [im. Totally six Cladocera species were identified in plankton material collected from Izmir Bay; Penilia avirostris Dana, Evadne spinifera Muller, E. tergestina Clauss, E. nordmanni Loven, Podon polyphemoides Leuckart, and P. intenvedius Lilljeborg. P. avirostris, E. spinifera and E. tergestina were the most important species due to they were dominant and the commonest forms in spring and particularly in summer in this area. E. nordmanni was found in small numbers in all seasons, except in summer. P.intermedius and P. polyphemoides could be characterized as frequent forms.İzmir Körfezi kladoserierinin mevsimsel dağılımlarını saptamak amacıyla 2004-2005 yıllarında bu çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Harpacticoid copepods belonging to families Thalestridae and Laophontidae, associated with Cystoseira crinita and Haliptilon virgatum in rocky biotops of mediolittoral zone in G;uuml;m;uuml;ld;uuml;r coast were investigated. As a result 6 species belonging to 5 genera were identified. Among them Laophonte cornuta Phiippi, 1840 is the first record from Turkish Seas
