The levels of english language acquisition on the basis of problem-solving and product-oriented tasks in the multiligual social medium

This article is aimed at revealing similarities and distinctions of the native, Russian and foreign languages in the natural multilingual social medium. The main idea in the research of this problem is realization of the problem-project approach to foreign- language education, principles of which a) determine mutual relations between a teacher and a pupil; b) specify content and structure of teaching material; c) optimize the foreign-language education process organization technology. The article presents the comparable and comparative collation of the native, Russian and English languages, cultures and similar language phenomena to be learned by carrying out of problem- solving and product-oriented tasks at linguistic, speech and spiritual-cognitive levels. This contributes to the development of metacompetences of pupils, expands their linguistic horizons and creates a stable basis for the development of linguistic, speech and sociocultural components of communicative competence
Eight exoplanet candidates in SAO survey
Here we present eight new candidates for exoplanets detected by the transit
method at the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of
Sciences. Photometric observations were performed with a 50-cm robotic
telescope during the second half of 2020. We detected transits with depths of
and periods in the light curves
of stars with magnitudes of . All considered stars are
classified as dwarfs with radii of (with the
uncertainty for one star up to ). We estimated the candidate radii
(all are greater than 1.4 times the Jovian radius), semi-major axes of their
orbits (), and other orbital parameters by modelling. We report
the light curves with transits for two stars obtained in 2022 based on

Doppler confirmation of TESS planet candidate TOI1408.01: grazing transit and likely eccentric orbit
We report an independent Doppler confirmation of the TESS planet candidate
orbiting an F-type main sequence star TOI-1408 located 140 pc away. We present
a set of radial velocities obtained with a high-resolution fiber-optic
spectrograph FFOREST mounted at the SAO RAS 6-m telescope (BTA-6). Our
self-consistent analysis of these Doppler data and TESS photometry suggests a
grazing transit such that the planet obscures its host star by only a portion
of the visible disc. Because of this degeneracy, the radius of TOI-1408.01
appears ill-determined with lower limit about 1 R,
significantly larger than in the current TESS solution. We also derive the
planet mass of ~ and the orbital period
days, thus making this object a typical hot Jupiter, but with a significant
orbital eccentricity of . Our solution may suggest the planet is
likely to experience a high tidal eccentricity migration at the stage of
intense orbital rounding, or may indicate possible presence of other unseen
companions in the system, yet to be detected.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure

Emergency prevention of tick-borne encephalitis
On the territory of the Russian Federation tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is registered in over 1.550 administrative districts of 41 regions, territories and autonomous republics. Over the entire period of observations since the official start of records in 1939, the manifestations have remained seasonal (May, August) with regular periods of rise in morbidity (9-11 years) caused by changes of the total quantity and percentage of infected ticks in the total [1, 2]
THE PSYCHOLINGUISTIC BASIS OF THE LINGUISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION
The object of this article is the methodology of psycholinguistics concerning analyzing concepts. The article's relevance is due to the need to apply new approaches to linguistic phenomena analysis, for which a purely linguistic methodology is not enough. The compilation method, a comparative method, and a linguistic modeling method are utilized to fulfill the study's aim. The author describes in detail the research gaps that exist at the moment in psycholinguistics, in particular, the structure of the relationship between sensory, short-term and long-term memory is still not fully defined, and therefore the basis for a deep analysis of conceptualization is not fully clear. The author concludes that the psycholinguistic methodology has the greatest explanatory power concerning the cognitive process of conceptualization. At the same time, in the case of comparative analysis of various linguistic cultures, the need for additional use of the conceptual and methodological apparatus of cultural studies and ethnology is actualized
