    Influence of National Indicators on KSE Stock Index Variation

    The aim of this research article is investigates perceptions of Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) stake holders regarding  influence of national indictors affecting on Karachi Stock Exchange index. Self-administered structured questionnaire distributed conveniently among 140 stake holders of Karachi Stock Exchange. Data analysed through SPSS version 20 and descriptive statistics mean frequency and % exposed; Karachi Stock Exchange stake holders perceived that national indicators have significant influence on Karachi Stock Exchange index variation. Results determine that due to political uncertainty in Pakistan effect on Karachi Stock Exchange Index variation. Conclusion matched with findings of previous studies also

    Bidirectional Relationship between Firm Performance and Dividend Payout Policy: A Study of Chemical Sector in Emerging Economies in Pakistan

    The study explains the relationship of dividend payout policy on the business performance of companies that exist in Chemical of Pakistan. 100 companies are selected from Chemical sector. Relationship of dividend payout policy and business performance was controlled with four variables based on relevant theories. These variables include size of company, growth of company, leverage (debt to equity ratio) and corporate governance index. Panel data is collected from 2012-2017 (six years) and then analyzed with unit root, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, OLS regression, Lagrange multiplier, Huasman test, Fixed effect and Random effect models. Following key findings for each research objective were obtained by applying the adopted research method on the data through the adopted method of analyses: The results showed that the no sign of a relationship between their dividend payout policy and profitability and so there is no controlling factor effective due to the absence of any relationship.     Dividend Payout Policy in Respect of company Performance: An Overview of Manufacturing Sector of Pakistan

    Purpose: The suggestion between dividend distribution policies and the commercial success of Pakistani cement business is explained by the current study. Design/Methodology/Approach: Four factors were used to control the relationship between the dividend distribution strategy and business success, taking into account pertinent theories. These factors include the firm's Extent and growth, its debt to equity ratio and its municipal supremacy index. Over the course of six years from 2012 to 2017 panel data was used. Findings: The study lays out a route that may direct further investigation into more definitive and useful discoveries. Future research may be examined the potential upshots of tax laws, regulations, occasions, and bonus payout patterns on upshotiveness and payout strategy would likely be of interest to academics and other stakeholder. Future research should take into account additional controlling analysts and industry performs, to see if they can be significant in creating a bonus strategy. Implications/Originality/Value: Present-day investigation's discoveries has a number of ramifications and help to simplify the bonus payout strategy's business performs in non-fiscal firms in Pakistan's top manufacturing sectors. Given that pay out-based bonus payout rules increase a firm's upshotiveness, fiscal executives are advised to develop a commitment to these rules and take steps to stabilize their bonus payment rules

    This article reports on a qualitative study, which was conducted to identify the problems faced by the general public as well as the security agencies on check posts as well as toll plazas due to lesser use of E-Tag facility for smooth movement of traffic and reduction in terrorist activities. The sample of study consisted of all the twelve persons from different classes and professions, who shared their personal experiences about this issue. A structured interview with open-ended questions was used to investigate the problems of traffic and terrorist activities. Collected data were analyzed through (transcribing and coding) the statements given by the general public. It was found that there are some serious issues on both the ends of general public as well as security agencies to maintain terrorist free movement of traffic within and outside cities of Pakistan. It was surprising to find out that there is no public awareness campaign by the government to educated general public about the use of E-Tag facility on both print and electronic media. The problem of traffic jam as well as reduction in terrorist activities can be overcome by the extensive use of modern technology likewise cameras & scanners respectively.Key words: Public awareness, Role of media, E-Tag facility, Use of modern technology, Terrorist activities
