Agreements between and among countries have been going on for centuries for the purpose of trade, security, employment, and peace among others, however, changes on these agreements do happen, for instance, when a new President gets elected and see a different direction for his/her country. When President Rodrigo Duterte became President of the Philippines in 2016, he have made it clear that he doesn\u27t trust the United States of America, while expressing preference in working with China, in fact, in his 6 year term, he has never step foot on the country for an official visit, however, a new perspective was introduced when Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was elected as President in 2022. President Marcos Jr.\u27s vision is clear to involve a strong relationship with the United States of America, as well as with China and other countries, whereas, in his interviews, he has kept on reiterating that one of his visions for the Philippines is to be A friend to all, and an enemy to none . Clearly, these are two Presidents with different perspectives on international relations and being very popular presidents; President Duterte leaving the office with a 69% trust rating, which is one of the highest in the history of the country, and President Marcos Jr. being the country\u27s first majority president winning with 58.77% of votes since the enactment of the 1987 constitution, it is not a surprise if their perspectives have influenced how the people perceive these countries. Through a literature review, this study attempted to find out Filipinos\u27 perception towards the two superpowers as allies of the Philippines in terms of trustworthiness. It is also the intention of this study to learn about the reasons why Filipinos perceive the countries in such a way, resulting in conclusions to what factors influence their trust

Purpose: Studies revealed that in the eyes of teachers, online education leads to more academic dishonesty, however, this study does not intend to justify that it is more prevalent in this mode of learning compared with physical classes. Nevertheless, the world has shifted to a modern learning approach called online education when the pandemic brought significant changes in people’s lives, and that the respondents of this study were students who during the data gathering procedure are enrolled in courses that utilize online learning approach and “academic servers” who during the same process are offering their services to students enrolled in the same mode of learning. This has led to this study that primarily aims to explore the industry of academic servicing that is believed to be a platform where academic dishonesty is tolerated and widely practiced amidst the new normal. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study has focused on 650 members of three groups in social media that promotes academic servicing where students can transact with people who offers their services in doing students’ academic requirements. The researcher utilized a qualitative-descriptive research approach whereas Semi-Structured interviews have been conducted and coding has been performed to analyze the data collected. Findings/Result: Results show that there is lack of discipline among students of the 21st century, particularly students who have enrolled during academic year 2020-2021, whereas, it is in the Senior High School Level and College Level where academic dishonesty is most prevalent. It was revealed that the key players in this “industry” aside from these students includes private and public-school teachers, unemployed senior high school and college graduates, and industry professionals. Most people who offer their services to do students’ academic requirements who are called academic servers are teachers, and they usually earn between Php. 1,500.00 and Php. 20,000.00 on a weekly basis from their clients who pay an average of Php. 500.00 per work. The top reasons why students engage in academic dishonesty are the overwhelming workload which is linked to poor time management, inability to independently study which is linked to poor or zero understanding on lessons and low support from teachers and parents, laziness, influence of peers, and pressure to get good grades, while the main motivation of academic servers in offering their services to students is to earn money, though some have expressed that at the same time, they would like to help struggling students. Results of this study shows low quality of education in the country and poor integrity of graduates of school year 2020-2021, and indicates clear violation of the code of ethics for professional teachers. Several laws linked to Prostitution have been enforced in the Philippines and in countries where it is not permitted over the years, however, evidences show that it has unceasingly developed, in fact, has been coined already as the “oldest profession” and has already become a multi-billion-dollar Industry. As laws in the Philippines continuously fail to solve the problem, this study suggested legalization a better option to minimize its negative implications, if it does not totally become a solution. Results show that legalizing sex work would cause more positive implications to the society than to criminalize it. Legalization has been determined to decrease incidents of physical and sexual violence against women and cases of Sexual Transmitted Deceases. Criminalization on the other hand has been found to lack of the ability to stop or even slow down the growth of the commercial sex Industry and proven to expose sex workers to physical and sexual assault and harassment not just from their clients but also from law enforcers. In the Philippines where sex work is illegal, financial need was identified as the primary reason why people choose to work as prostitutes, unfortunately, it was discovered that they are treated badly; there are times that they are not being paid, they experience being forced to do things they don’t want to do, and they are harassed by hotel employees and law enforcers. Furthermore, though the Hospitality Industry may not be in support of prostitution, it seems like it is as hotels are used as the primary venue for the service. The Philippine Government if will stick to having sex work as a crime should therefore look into Hotels and conceptualize ways to make sure that people who are checking In are not there for commercial se

There have been several occasions where men involved in rape cases have told enforcers, the court, and even their victims that if it wasn’t for how the woman is dressed, the crime would’ve not happened. Likewise, there have been occasions where judges and enforcers themselves called the attention of women to dress appropriately in public to avoid sexual assaults, however, this led to criticisms and campaigns involving women instilling their rights and freedom to wear whatever they like and highlighting that it is men who should be taught to respect and behave well. This study determined if man’s behavior towards women gets affected by how they dress and if so, in what way their actions are affected by it. Through a survey and interview, the authors further found out the top reasons why women wear revealing clothes in public, and their belief towards men’s response to it. Results show that men’s behavior towards women really gets affected by how they dress, and it is affected in a way that men literally gets aroused when they see women wearing revealing clothes, moreover, it was found out that sexual objectification portrayed in films, advertisements, or anything published through media is a contributor to the objectification experienced by women in society. This study also shows that women strongly believe wearing provocative clothes can get the attention of men sexually and it is man’s nature; in fact, this is what they tend to do if they would like to seduce a man or to just get their attention. These findings led to a conclusion that when women present themselves in a provocative dress in public, they are more likely to be seducing or sexually attracting men than any other reasons. In addition, though most rape victims are dressed with revealing clothes when they were raped, there are still a number of rape victims who are not dressed provocatively when the crime was committed. It is therefore concluded that rape and other related crimes can’t be solved by just educating women how to dress appropriately, but it can minimize the number of incidents, thus give them lesser risk of becoming a victim. Recommendations include the passing of a decency law to regulate how people dress in public places and to stop the creation of films, advertisements, and other media platforms that portray sexual objectification
