Diseño, construcción e instalación de un toggling para el estacado de pieles menores

La construcción, e instalación del toggling, para el estirado y secado del cuero se desarrolló en las instalaciones del Laboratorio de Curtición de Pieles de la FCP, de la ESPOCH, no se dispone de tratamientos experimentales sin embargo se procedió a realizar pruebas piloto semanales, con 5 pieles, que se consideró como fuente de variación, por lo que, los resultados registrados respondieron a una recopilación de muestras sistematizadas, utilizando estadística descriptiva. Los resultados indican quepara que el cuero quede plano, con flor lisa y poro fino debe secarse en el toggling. Después de comparar la longitud tanto inicial como final y porcentaje de incremento en la longitud, se concluye que el método más adecuado fue el toggling, porque el cuero se seca en menor tiempo, tiene mejor rendimiento en área, mejores cualidades de quiebre y suavidad. Los resultados indican que el toggling fue construido con materiales y técnicas para conseguir un mayor porcentaje de incremento en la longitud del cuero así como también se estima que se requiere de 2 horas con 30 minutos para conseguir un secado óptimo.El toggling aunque tiene un costo elevado, se compensa por la calidad del cuero, además de acuerdo a la evaluación económica se conseguirá una recuperación del capital en los dos primeros años, y el tiempo de vida útil restante será utilidad. Por lo que se utilizara el secado al vacío en el toggling, ya que los beneficios son más altos, que en otro tipo de secado como al ambiente.The construction and installation of toggling, for the stretched and the leather is developed in the Tanning of Skins Lab of ESPOCH, there are not available experimental treatments, although was proceed to realize pilot test weekly, 5 skins, considered like variation source, so the registered results answered to the collect of systematized samples, using descriptive statistic. Although the toggling has a high cost, makes up for the leather quality, besides according to the economical evaluation will get a capital recovery in two first years, and the time of remaining useful life will be profit. For this reason will use the vacuum drying in the toggling, since the benefits are higher than in another type of dried out the air
