The article provides a brief description of the experimental units, is retained for research features of processes of mixing and subsequent combustion of the fuel-air mixtures, including alternative fuels in an internal combustion engine with spark ignition, ignition and compression-ignition homogeneous charge. The structure of the instruments used and describes the testing methods.В статье приводится краткое описание экспериментальных установок, предназначенных для проведения исследований особенностей протекания процессов смесеобразования и последующего сгорания топливно-воздушных смесей, в том числе и альтернативных топлив, в условиях двигателей внутреннего сгорания с искровым зажиганием, с самовоспламенением от сжатия и с самовоспламенением гомогенного заряда. Приводится состав используемых приборов, и описываются методики испытаний

Защита клеток нейробластомы SK-N-MC природными сесквитерпеновыми лактонами от повреждений, вызванных глутаматом и пероксидом

An the present study we evaluated the effect of natural sesquiterpene lactones of plants of the genus Inula on the cells of neuroblastoma SK-N-MC under conditions of toxic stress induced by H2O2 and glutamate. Lactones increased cell survival under these conditions and the leader compounds were identified in this series. A putative mechanism for the protective action of lactones on cells under condition toxic stress has been proposed.Исследовано действие природных сесквитерпеновых лактонов растений рода Inula на клетки нейробластомы SK-N-MC в условиях токсического стресса, индуцированного H2O2 и глутаматом. Показана способность лактонов повышать выживаемость клеток в этих условиях и выявлены соединения лидеры в этом ряду. Предложен механизм защитного действия лактонов на клетки при индукции токсического стресса

Биологическая активность алантолактонов в экспериментах на клетках

The results of in vitro studies demonstrate cytotoxic activity alantolactone and isoalantolactone, presented in the elecampane plant (Inula helenium) of the natural sesquiterpene lactones. These compounds show toxicity against human cancer cell lines: MS, A549, HCT116, MCF7, RD and K562. The involvement of the p53 signaling pathway in the death of tumor cells, as well as the contribution of reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation during cell death, was studied.Представлены результаты исследований in vitro цитотоксической активности природных сесквитерпеновых лактонов – алантолактона и изоалантолактона, содержащихся в растении девясил высокий (Inula helenium). Показано, что такие соединения проявляют токсичность по отношению к опухолевым клеточным линиям человека: MS, A549, HCT116, MCF7, RD и K562. Исследовано участие сигнального пути p53 в гибели опухолевых клеток, а также вклад образования активных форм кислорода (АФК) в процесс гибели клеток

Numerical simulation of loads and impacts, stress-strain state, strength and stability of unique structures, buildings and facilities. Experience of StaDyO research & engineering centre

The paper contains analytical overview of the most important unique/critical objects and the computational analysis problems of the mechanical safety, carried out by the team of Research & Development Centre StaDyO (StaDyO R&D Centre) researchers for the last two years (2016-2018). Corresponding complex coupled problems of continuum mechanics were solved with the use of contemporary methods and models of numerical modeling (nonlinear models, coupled problems, substructures, submodeling, etc.), implemented in verified software complexes. Some of these results are briefly considered and analyzed. Conclusions about the main directions of further research and development are presented as well. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd
