5G Radiation and Potential Risks to the Environment and Human Health
The rapid development in wireless communication technology and the urgent need to develop it has led to an increase in the public exposure to more radio spectrum frequencies. The mountain increases in terms of the damage caused by these wireless technologies for the 2G, 3G and 4G generations ending with the new technique, which is 5G. As a result of the urgent need for fast communications and wide packages of data, only a new generation of communications has emerged, which is 5G, which enjoys high speed and broadcasts in short waves and high frequency. There is great concern about the impact of these technologies on human health and safety. This technique works at relatively higher frequencies than the previously used technologies. This research sheds light on some of the expected harms of these technologies and the result of using these techniques, where the damages on the human body in general, the skin and the human eye in particular, are addressed, as well as their impact on the environment and plants in general
The Role of Measuring and Evaluating Performance in Achieving Control Objectives- Case Study of "Islamic University"
The study aimed to identify the role of measuring and evaluating performance in achieving the objectives of control and the performance of the job at the Islamic University in Gaza Strip. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to collect information which is the questionnaire that consisted of (22) phrases were distributed to three categories of employees of the Islamic University (Faculty Members and Their Assistants, Members of the Administrative Board, Senior Management). A random sample of (314) employees was selected and 276 responses were retrieved with a recovery rate of 88.1%. The Statistical Analysis Program (SPSS) was used to enter process and analyze the data. The results of the research showed a positive role between measuring and evaluating the performance and achieving the objectives of the control of performance in the Islamic University from the point of view of the members (senior management, faculty and their assistants, and members of administrative board). The researchers also recommended a number of recommendations, most notably the provision of an appropriate level of the elements of the control systems today through the modernization and continuous development of performance measures and the need to provide the physical and financial resources necessary to continue the development and achievement within the university, to expand the development of technology in the various activities of the university through the construction of a complete and integrated system to support supervision systems in the university to suit the size of the university. The researchers also recommended following up and reviewing the performance measures and work to modify them in line with the mission and the goals of the university that it seeks to reach
The Relationship between Correcting Deviations in Measuring Performance and Achieving the Objectives of Control - The Islamic University as a Model
The study aimed to identify the relationship between correcting the deviations in the measurement of performance and achieving the objectives of control and the performance of the job at the Islamic University in the Gaza Strip. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to collect information. The questionnaire consisted of (20) statements distributed to three categories of employees of the Islamic University (senior management, faculty members, their assistants and members of the administrative board). A random sample of 314 employees was selected and 276 responses were retrieved with a recovery rate of 88.1%. The Statistical Analysis Program (SPSS) was used to enter, process, and analyze the data. The results of the study showed a positive relationship between correcting deviations in performance measurement and achieving the control objectives represented by the functional performance in the Islamic University from the point of view of the members (senior management, faculty and their assistants, and the administrative board), where the relative weight of all the paragraphs was (74.25%). The study recommended the need to ensure that the actual performance of the planned performance is matched and decisions are taken to correct the serious deviations and take the necessary measures in terms of retraining and change in regulations, wages and bonuses and punishment of the culprit, neglect and negligence by mistake
On random coincidence points and random best approximation in p-normed spaces

Type 1 versus type 2 fuzzy logic speed controllers for brushless dc motors
This work presented two fuzzy logic (FL) schemes for speed-controlled brushless DC motors. The first controller is a Type 1 FL controller (T1FLC), whereas the second controller is an interval Type 2 FL controller (IT2FLC). The two proposed controllers were compared in terms of system dynamics and performance. For a fair comparison, the same type and number of membership functions were used for both controllers. The effectiveness of the structures of the two FL controllers was verified through simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. Simulation result showed that IT2FLC exhibited better performance than T1FLC
The Removal of Zinc from Aqueous Solutions Using Malvaparviflora
In this study, the adsorption of Zn (NO3)2 is carried out by using surfaces of malvaparviflora. The validity of the adsorption is evaluated by using atomic absorption Spectrophotometry through determination the amount of adsorbed Zn (NO3)2. Various parameters such as PH, adsorbent weight and contact time are studied in terms of their effect on the reaction progress. Furthermore, Lagergren’s equation is used to determine adsorption kinetics. It is observed that high removal of Zn (NO3)2 is obtained at PH=2. High removal of Zn (NO3)2 is at the time equivalent of 60 min and reaches equilibrium,where 0.25gm is the best weight of adsorbant . For kinetics the reaction onto malvaparviflora follows pseudo first order Lagergren’s equation
Dislocation dipoles and the nucleation of cracks in silicon nanopillars
To understand the brittle to ductile transtion at small scale in silicon nanopillars, plastic deformation of silicon nanopillars was investigated by atomistic simulations. Perfect dislocations were found to be nucleated from surfaces and nano cavities were evidenced resulting from dislocation dipoles annihilation. The formation of such cavities is consistent with previous atomistic calculations showing that the annihilation of dislocation vacancy dipole of perfect shuffle dislocations is associated to the formation of vacancy clusters in silicon and diamond [1]. In nanopillars such cavities contribute to the nucleation of cracks [2]. This mechanism of crack nucleation is relevant to single slip deformation and does not require any interactions between dislocations issued from intersecting glide planes as usually postulated for crack nucleation [3].
Incipient dipoles were also found nucleated on the glide plane swept by dislocations. These incipient dipoles result from bond flips and are similar to the Stone–Wales defects in graphene [4]. These defects could be similar and related to the “dislocations trails” found in the glide plane of dislocations in other deformation conditions, a long time and rather unsolved problem in silicon (see for example [5]). Under the applied stress those incipient dipoles appear to act as new nucleation centers for dislocations located in the glide plane. Those dislocations contribute to dislocation interactions in parallel slip planes and to the formation of nano cracks following the described above mechanism
Isolation and Identification by PCR and Analysis for Probiotic Properties of Lactobacillus spp from Dairy Products.
Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are very significant to human health and due to their ability to produce some antibacterial substances and ability to inhibit pathogenic bacteria, they are commonly used as a natural food preservative to improve food safety and stability,. The present study was focused on isolation and characterization of Lactobacillus spp from dairy products at local markets of Babylon province of Iraq, by conventional and molecular methods  using PCR. Additionally, the study and to demonstrate some of probiotic properties of these isolates. All isolates were phenotypically characterized  including studying the microbiological, biochemical, effect of sodium chloride and pH during growth, carbohydrates test and characterizing the antimicrobial activity of Lactobacillus spp against pathogens. The present study demonstrates that Lactobacillus spp produced a bacteriocin- like inhibitory substance with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity directed against pathogenic indicator organism suggesting its protective value against enteric pathogens. Fractal Antennas for Wireless Communications
When the length of the antenna is less than a quarter of the wavelength of the operating frequency, good radiation properties are difficult to obtain. However, size limitations can be overcome in this case using a fractal geometry antenna. The shape is repeated in a limited size such that the total length of the antenna is increased to match, for example, half of the wavelength of the corresponding desired frequency. Many fractal geometries, e.g., the tree, Koch, Minkowski, and Hilbert fractals, are available. This chapter describes the details of designing, simulations, and experimental measurements of fractal antennas. Based on dimensional geometry in terms of desired frequency bands, the characteristics of each iteration are studied carefully to improve the process of designing the antennas. In depth, the surface current distribution is investigated and analyzed to enhance the circular polarization radiation and axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW). Both, simulation and experimental, results are discussed and compared. Two types of fractal antennas are proposed. The first proposed fractal antenna has a new structure configured via a five-stage process. The second proposed fractal antenna has a low profile, wherein the configuration of the antenna was based on three iterations
Inappropriate sinus tachycardia: focus on ivabradine
Inappropriate sinus tachycardia (IST) is an incompletely understood condition characterised by an elevation in heart rate (HR) accompanied by wide ranging symptoms, in the absence of an underlying physiological stimulus. The condition often takes a chronic course with significant adverse effects on quality of life. Currently there is no effective treatment for IST. Beta-blockers, generally considered the cornerstone of treatment, are often ineffective and poorly tolerated. Ivabradine is a novel sinus node If "funny current" inhibitor which reduces the HR. It has been approved for the treatment of beta-blocker refractory chronic systolic heart failure and chronic stable angina, but more recently shown promise in the treatment of IST. This review provides an overview of IST prevalence and mechanisms, followed by an examination of the evidence for the role and efficacy of ivabradine in the treatment of IST
