The Use of Antihypertensive and Antiplatelet Drugs on Hospital Stroke Patients

Medicine is one of the most important part of the healing process, the restoration of health and prevention of disease. This study aims to describe the use of drugs, particularly antihypertensive and antiplatelet drugs in stroke patients hospitalized in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Bantul during December 2014-April 2015. This research is observational descriptive study. Data collection was done prospectively with a survey of stroke patients in inpatient Al-Insan and al-A'raaf wards in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Bantul during the specified period. During the study there were 61 stroke patients sampled in the study, of which 41 (67.2%) were geriatrics and 20 (32.8%) were not geriatrc. From the data, 28 (45.9%) patients did not receive antihypertensive drugs, only 33 (54,1%) patients received antihypertensive drug.The antihypertensive drugs type were given to patients were ACEI 9 (14.8%) and CCB 6 (9.8%), as well as combinations ACEI and CCB 7 (11.5%). Most patients did not receive antiplatelet 43 (70.5%), whereas patients receiving antiplatelet drugs most was the kind of aspirin 17 (27.9%). From the above data it can be concluded that the use of antihypertensive drugs in stroke patients in the inpatient ward in PKU Muhamaddiyah Hospital Bantul quite frequently used, while the use of antiplatelet drugs in these cases rarely used

Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif Rotating Trio Exchange (Rte) Disertai Media Question Box Dapat Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Laju Reaksi di Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru

This study aimed at investigating the significant difference of students\u27 learning achievement between students taught using Rotating Trio Exchange(RTE) assisted with question box and students taught conventionally with question box in chemistry subject at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. Subject of this research were students at XI MIA 3 as experiment class and XI MIA 1 as control class were randomely selected. Data analized after giving pretest and postest to each class by using ttest. The results revealed that application active learning strategy of RTE was capable to improve student\u27s achievement in chemistry especially in Reaction Rate Subject at 11th SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The result of the study shows a significant difference of students\u27 learning achievement between students taught using RTE assisted with questions box and students taught conventionally with question box with tobserved 3,87 > ttabel 1,67. And n-gain score for exsperiment class is 0.65 and control class is 0.47, means the improvement of both classes achievement was in average category

Studi Komparasi Prestasi Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray (Tsts) dengan Numbered Heads Together (Nht) pada Pokok Bahasan Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik Unsur di Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Dayun

The research about comparing cooperative learning models types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with Numbered Head Together (NHT) has been done to improve student\u27s achievement on learning topic Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements at class X SMAN 2 Dayun. This research aimed to find out student\u27s achievement the better one between cooperative learning models types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with Numbered Head Together (NHT) on learning topic of Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements by comparing these two models. This was a quasi experimental research with pretest-posttest design. Population on this research ware all classes X in SMAN 2 Dayun consisting of four classes. The subject of this research ware X4 as the experimental class of TSTS and X2 as the experimental class of NHT, which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using two tail t-test. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained that tcount = 4,271 and ttable = 2,00 with α = 0,05, dk = 53. tcount ≥ ttable 4,271≥ 2,00. It means there are significant differences between the student\u27s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with the student\u27s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the learning topic of Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements in SMAN 2 Dayun

Implementing Digital Citizenship Elements in Middle School Arabic Language Curriculum in Saudi Arabia

This study aimed to analyze and evaluate the Arabic language curriculum of middle school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the inclusion of digital citizenship elements. The descriptive analytical approach was used through an analysis form. The Arabic language curricula of the three grades of middle school were analyzed using a content analysis form devised by the researcher. Results showed poor and insufficient inclusion of digital citizenship elements in the curricula of the three grades of middle school. They also showed variation among the three curricula in the inclusion of digital citizenship elements, but, in general, they all remained unsatisfactory. The study recommended more attention to include digital citizenship elements to meet students interests and needs of the digital age. It also suggested conducting more studies in this concern for other curricula of the Arabic language in other stages. The major statistical and analytical approach observed in this study also unveils certain significant factors of digital citizenship that affect the results, factors like experience possessed by the teacher, age, and level of grades. The perspectives of instructors helped to identify the influence upon the teaching standards of Saudi Arabia so that steps could be taken towards the improvement of educational systems

Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif Tipe Instant Assessment untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Koloid di Kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru

Classroom Action Research (CAR) has been done using active learning strategy Instant Assessmen type to improve the student activity and student achievement on the subject of Colloid in class XI Science 1 SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. The research was conducted in April to May 2016 and the subjects were students of class XI Science 1 SMAN 15 Pekanbaru and subjects of research was 42 students which consist of 19 males and 23 females. The data was collected from action of each observation, analyzed descriptively by using techniques percentage to see results that occur in learning activities. This study consisted of two cycles where the average student activity in the end of the learning process gained 54,75% and student achievement in classical learning completeness percentage obtained 85.71%

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Rotating Trio Exchange (Rte) untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Hidrolisis Garam di Kelas XI IPA SMA N 9 Pekanbaru

The implementation of cooperative learning model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) has been conducted to determine the improve in student achievement and improve learning achievement category on the subject of salt hydrolysis in class XI SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. Forms of this research is experimental research design with pretest - posttest. Time data collection between February 8 to April 13, 2016. The sample consisted of two classes, grade XI IPA 3 as the control class and class XI IPA 5 as an experimental class selected at random. Grades given experimental treatment with the application of Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE), while the control class are given learning lecture method. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the analysis of data processing obtained t¬hitung> ttable is 4.94> 1.67 means that the implementation of cooperative learning model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) can improve student achievement on the subject of salt hydrolysis in class XI SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. Category increase student achievement in the classroom experiment with a normalized gain value (N-gain) of 0.91 is included in the high category
