ANALISIS STRUKTUR EKONOMI DAN SEKTOR BASIS DALAM MENDORONG PEREKONOMIAN KABUPATEN KARAWANG PERIODE 2009-2013

This study aims to examine the economic development oriented to agriculture, industry, trade and services that lead to achievement of both national and regional level to be more increased. It can be seen on variables such as revenues, employment, and value-added as a proportion of the country earlier in the economic structure and the structure of the regional economy for a certain period. This research was conducted with the Shift Share Analysis methods with techniques that are useful in analyzing the changes in the economic structure of the economy compared with the Karawang regency, West Java province. The purpose of this shift share analysis is to determine the performance or productivity of the economy by comparing the Karawang regency of West Java Province. The results showed that the sector which has a value of PB <0 is the sector of agriculture, mining and quarrying and transport and communications sector this means these sectors, including sectors that are growing in the district karawang relatively sluggish. Then the Karawang regency government should also prioritize the sector as well as for the economy of the Karawang regency getting up

Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Community Engagement and Education for Sustainable Development

This proceeding contains articles on the various ideas of the academic community presented at The 3rd International Conference on Community Engagement and Education for Sustainable Development (ICCEESD 2022) organized by the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia on 7th-8th December 2022.  ICCEESD is a biannual forum for sharing, benchmarking, and discussing HEI’s activities in developing Education for Sustainable Development towards community engagement. Education for Sustainability as a teaching strategy for resolving community challenges through formal, informal, or non-formal education is expected to benefit from various community service best practices by academics, researchers, and students. The 3rd ICCEESD has “Strengthening Education for Sustainability Towards Better Community Engagement” as its theme this year.
