Hemodialysis is a renal replacement therapy for patients with cronic renal disease who are decline of renal fuction. The complex therapy and physical condition of chronic kidney disease and hemodialysis patient involve a severe stressor that lead to depression. Progressive muscle relaxation technique is one of nonpharmacoloical therapies that treat depression. This research aimed to prove the influence of progressive muscle relaxation technique to changes in depression level in cronic kidney disease with hemodialysis in Dr. WahidinSudiroHusodoMojokertohospital. In this research design used is Quasy experiment with pre-test post-test control group design. Sample of 30 people were taken by simple random sampling. 15 people from experimental group were given routine progressive muscle relaxation technique in 2 times a day of the week and 15 people from control group were given not routine progressive muscle relaxation techniques in 2 day one time in a week . The research instrument was Beck Depression Inventory. Wilcoxon  Signed Rank Test shows that p value (0.001) < α (0.05), so it is accepted  that there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation on the depression level of cronic kidney disease patient undergoing hemodialysis. To test the U-Mann Whitney shows that p value (0.005) < α (0.05), so that H0 is rejected it means there is different of the channge depression level between experiment group and the control group.this therapy can increase the production of melatonin and serotonin, reduce stress hormone cortisol. PMR also, lowering the muscle tension ,do make positive thinking so,  throught that is influence to decrease in depression level. Routine muscle relaxationdistractify the stressor everyday in training

Mental retardation is a weakness that occurs in intellectual function. With the burden faced by parents will be able to cause stress and will adversely affect their children if not using the right coping strategies. This study aims to identify the level of stress and coping mechanisms in mothers who have children with mental retardation. The research design used in this research is descriptive. The instrument used is questionnaire. The sample in this research are 30 mothers who have children with mental retardation with Primary School Extraordinary level (PSE) in SLB ACD Pertiwi Kota Mojokerto. Sampling with Total Sampling technique. From the results of this study showed that most respondents experienced moderate stress level as much as 17 respondents (56.7%). Most of the respondents aged 31-49 years as many as 16 respondents (53.3%). Most respondents use adaptive coping mechanism that is 27 respondents (90,0%). The results of the analysis indicate that the stress level of mothers who have children with mental retardation is still in the level of moderate stress. This is due to the influence of mothers with social support. The higher the social support the lower the level of stress experienced by the mother. Therefore respondents should make efforts to cope with stress by changing the problems encountered and expanding the source to overcome them. Keywords : Stress level, coping mechanism, mental retardation. &nbsp

This article focus to analyze (1) Effect of education budget, health budget and economy toword of human resources quality in Jambi province. (2) The influence of inflation, unemployment and human resources quality toword of economy in Jambi province. The data poaltime series was taken 2007-2011 of regency and city in Jambi province. The analyze use Simultaneous model. Before analysis, we also checked cointegration test and causalities between human resources quality and economy. The result of research concludes that (1) The have education budget a significant and positive impact toword of human resources quality, health budget have a unsignificant and positive impact toword of human resources quality and economy have unsignificant and positive toword of human resources in Jambi province. (2) Inflation have significant and negative impact toword of economy, unemployment and human resources quality unsignificantly influence impact toword economy in Jambi province. Policy implications of the results of this study are: 1) government efforts through education budget and health budget in the form of the government budget through health and education facilities in the form of facilities and infrastructure, as well as education and health services to improve the quality of human resources. 2) efforts to do next government in building the economy of the region is to maintain stable prices in the market to curb inflation and provide employment business for the community as well as providing training to workers in order to reduce unemployment

Instability patterns in ultrathin nematic films: comparison between theory and experiment

Motivated by recent experimental observations [U. Delabre et al, Langmuir 24, 3998, 2008] we reconsider an instability of ultrathin nematic films, spread on liquid substrates. Within a continuum elastic theory of liquid crystals, in the harmonic approximation, we find an analytical expressions for the critical thickness as well as for the critical wavenumber, characterizing the onset of instability towards the stripe phase. Comparing theoretical predictions with experimental observations, we establish the utility of surface-like term such as an azimuthal anchoring.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures, LaTeX macros EPL draft, accepted for publication in EP

Strong-coupling behaviour in discrete Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equations

We present a systematic discretization scheme for the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) equation, which correctly captures the strong-coupling properties of the continuum model. In particular we show that the scheme contains no finite-time singularities in contrast to conventional schemes. The implications of these results to i) previous numerical integration of the KPZ equation, and ii) the non-trivial diversity of universality classes for discrete models of `KPZ-type' are examined. The new scheme makes the strong-coupling physics of the KPZ equation more transparent than the original continuum version and allows the possibility of building new continuum models which may be easier to analyse in the strong-coupling regime.Comment: 21 pages, revtex, 2 figures, submitted to J.
