This article is aimed at identifying comparative linguistic characteristics of advertising slogans in France and Russia. The phrases selected in advance from the most popular advertising videos, publishings and radio broadcasting are analyzed and divided into several groups, taking into account the scope of the advertised product or service: slogans for banks, for food and beverages, as well as for cosmetics and hygiene products. The presented analysis describes the nuances of similarities and differences on the examples of the two countries' slogans, emphasizing the peculiarities of their national and cultural mentality.

BRITISH DIALECTS' IMPACT ON THE NEW ZEALAND ENGLISH FORMATION

This research presents the analysis of the British dialects influence on the formation of the New Zealand variant of the English language (NZE). The article provides information about the advent of colonizers in the 19th century in New Zealand when England's colonial expansion caused the spread of the English language and its active development of the new regional branch. Specific features of British dialects and their mutual linguistic impact along with the wideranging foreign policy of England formed the basis for modern Kiwi English or NZE. Being heavily mixed between each other and the Maori language, the dialects of British migrants and the language of the indigenous tribe created a new pronunciation, orthography and particular vocabulary. Therefore, the main objective of this article is to reveal all the nuances of the dialectal impact of the British on the emergence and evolution of the New Zealand variant of English. In addition, much attention is paid to the various migrants' layers of the New Zealand society during the period of British colonization, assessing shifts in the population's composition and language changes accordingly. The article also indicates certain areas of migrants' settlements with different accents of the English language. There are two theories which explain establishing of the New Zealand English language. The first “single-origin theory” includes the influence of Cockney English dialect. The second theory is called “the mixing - bowl theory”, which presents the combination of southeastern English accents and dialects. Moreover, the survey has shown the possibility to determine the roots of words and their origin. The results thus obtained are compatible with literary sources, which confirm the language presence of the Scots and the Irish as well as the Maori. The vocabulary of New Zealand can be rooted in southeastern areas of England, but it came via Australia. Empirical, theoretical and sociological methods are used to scrutinize and structure this data and information. In conclusion, the results of this study identified that the English dialects of the southeastern regions of England, Scottish English and Irish English had the most significant impact on the New Zealand variant of the English language

Objective: comparative analysis of the influence of the methods of the lateral ophthalmotilapia and low-intensity magnetic therapy on the Central and peripheral nervous system and the immune status in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Material and methods: a comparative analysis of the impact of the 44 patients with rheumatoid arthritis aged 18 to 65 years, of which 19 patients (43.2 percent) — 1 group received low-frequency low-intensity magnetic therapy and 25 patients (56.8 per cent) — group 2, the lateral ophthalmotilapia. Results. In group 1 significantly improved memory both short-term (from 69.2±9.0 to 81,7±12,7, p=0.003), and the reminiscence relating to medium-term characteristics of memory (57,3±22 to 79,0±14,5; p=0.004). In patients of the 2nd group in the course of treatment was observed more pronounced dynamics of improvement of parameters of higher nervous activity, namely short-term memory (79,4±17 to 88,2±12, p=0.003)and reminiscences of memory (from 69.4±27 to 82.4±19,5, p=0,0016). Conclusion. Lateral ophthalmotilapia and low-frequency magnetotherapy for help expand the list of rehabilitation programs in rheumatoid arthritis, the disease having dual autoimmune and psychosomatic genesis

Electronic apps in assessing risk and monitoring of patients with arterial hypertension

The medical social significance of the arterial hypertension (AH) in the world is determined by its high prevalence, which allows to call it a non-infectious pandemic of today. The AH still remains the most common chronic disease that triggers the cardiovascular continuum, significantly reduces the body’s adaptive capacity, worsens the living standards for people of socially minded age, and represents the leading global risk of increased cardiovascular mortality. The purpose of the study was comparison of informative value of various methods for measuring the arterial blood pressure (ABP) (office-based, home-based using electronic apps, and daily) in order to improve the risk assessment of the condition and monitoring the treatment efficiency for the AH patients. The method of qualitative and quantitative analysis of scientific literature and public online sources was used in the study. It has been established that the ABP analysis is an important tool to prevent the negative consequences of the AH. The results of the experimental study have revealed that hourly home-based ABP monitoring using a mobile electronic app is more informative than monitoring at long intervals, and provides information which is close to the average daily indicators obtained in the daily ABP monitoring. © 2019, Ediciones Medicas del Sur S.R.L. The effect of Gd doping on carrier concentration in InGaAsSb layers grown by liquid phase epitaxy

    No full text
It is shown that addition of Gd to the melt during liquid phase epitaxy growth of InGaAsSb layers greatly reduces contamination of the samples with residual donor impurities, such as sulfur and silicon. The effect is related to Gd gettering of these impurities in the melt. © 1994

Hydrogen passivation effects in quaternary solid solutions of InGaAsSb lattice matched to GaSb

    No full text
Hydrogen passivation effects in InAs-related and GaSb-related InGaAsSb layers lattice matched to GaSb have been studied. Strong passivation of shallow acceptors has been observed and is explained by the assumption that hydrogen is a deep donor in these materials. The effects of the hydrogen treatment mode on the passivation efficiency are also discussed, as well as the changes induced by hydrogen treatment in photoluminescence spectra of the layers. © 1994

THE PREDICTIVE MODEL FOR THE NITROGEN SUPPLY ESTIMATION OF AGRICULTURAL PLANTS

    No full text
The article deals with the description of the creating method for a predictive model of the nitrogen supply and the comparison of the obtained predictive models based on different vegetative indices. The predictive models for plants of the «Protva» bean species of Russian selection at various concentrations of total nitrogen in the soil are presented in the article. All models were obtained on the basis of comparative analysis of various vegetative indices. The authors propose to use the obtained predictive model for determining current concentration of nitrogen in the soil. Such information can be used for creating soil maps of a field with a high spatial resolution, which are successfully used to apply fertilizers in precision farming systems and can significantly improve productivity and yield
