Modelling And Simulation Of The Performance Analysis For Peltier Module And Seebeck Module Using MATLAB/Simulink
Currently, the technologies used in power generation are not fully optimised and inefficient. The waste energy produced from the machines, systems and the infrastructure have created interest in energy harvesting researches especially the world is entering the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0). This paper investigates the analytical modelling for both Peltier and Seebeck module in terms of the main parameters needed for quick evaluation depending on user’s application such voltage, current, coefficient of performance and the efficiency, thermal resistivity, total internal resistance, and Seebeck coefficient of the module. These parameters are normally given by manufacturer of the module through the datasheet. MATLAB/Simulink was used to simulate from the base
equations. Graph representation of the output can be generated using several codes on Matlab command window. The simulation was tested on TEP1-1994-3.5 and TES1-05350 where the results obtained agrees well with the datasheet provided by the manufacturer which proved the MATLAB/Simulink’s modelling. The real experiment data using Peltier Module, APH-127-10-25-S proved the analytical modelling with the percentage error between simulation real experiments of 0.45% where the analytical simulation estimates the voltage output is 1.6340 V while the experimental voltage output from the in-lab experiment is 1.6266 V at hot temperature of 61°C and cold temperature of 27.5°C
Quality of Service (QoS) by Utility Evolved Packet Core (EPC) in LTE Network
LTE which stands for Long Term Evolution is one of wireless broadband technology which provides an increased on both network capacity and speed to user. As LTE network grows, LTE mobile data services becomes demanding mode of communication. From audio call to video conference, video conference to online bank transaction, user lives conveniently with LTE. The speed of LTE network is up to 300 Mbps with the coverage of 100 km. However, LTE network could not be standalone on this chain for so long as it might occur generalization of services where the quality cannot be guarantee. Here Quality of Service (QoS) play it roles in managing and design wireless services that suit every single user necessity. QoS refers to the ability of a network to accomplish maximum bandwidth and handle with another element within network performance. Not to mention, minor support that made this possible is by studying on how EPC could make a different in improving the QoS in LTE network. Evolved Packet Core (EPC) is designed to support smooth transfer for voice and data to a base station. Hence, investigation in benefit of EPC toward QoS in LTE is carry out and simulation result obtained will be evaluated throughout this paper
Voltage Generation and Thermal Gradient Analysis of a Car Waste Heat using Thermoelectric Generator
This study is conducted to analyse the behaviour of voltage generation and thermal gradient of a car waste heat when these conditions are applied; with no air conditioning system and with air conditioning system. The analysis of this behaviour is made possible by utilising a set of three cascaded thermoelectric generators (TEGs) in each condition. The harvested voltage is attained by placing the hot side of the TEG on top of the dashboard car. A series of data setup from a set of TEGs, temperature data logger and the data acquisition card is accomplished towards the end of the experiment. From the final analysis, it is found that the highest thermal gradient and voltage generation is obtained with the presence of air conditioning
