Anomalously interacting extra neutral bosons
We study phenomenological consequences of the Standard Model extension by the
new spin-1 chiral fields with the internal quantum numbers of the electroweak
Higgs doublets. There are at least three different classes of theories, all
motivated by the hierarchy problem, which predict new vector weak-doublets with
masses not far from the electro-weak scale. We discuss resonance production of
these neutral chiral Z* bosons at hadron colliders. The bosons can be observed
as a Breit-Wigner resonance peak in the invariant dilepton mass distributions
in the same way as the well-known extra gauge Z' bosons. This includes them
into a list of very interesting objects for early searches with the first LHC
data. Moreover, the Z* bosons have unique signatures in transverse momentum,
angular and pseudorapidity distributions of the final leptons, which allow to

We have found in [1] new conditions for a total neutrino conversion in the
case of neutrino oscillations taking place in a medium, consisting of n = 2 (or
3) alternating layers with constant densities and . It is claimed in
[4] that our results are particular case of enhancement of neutrino
oscillations, which was suggested earlier by other authors and was widely
discussed in the literature. We refute these claims, confirming the novelty of

A two-step optimized measurement for the phase-shift
A two-step detection strategy is suggested for the precise measurement of the optical phase-shift. In the first step an unsharp, however, unbiased joint measurement of the phase and photon number is performed by heterodyning the signal field. Information coming from this step is then used for suitable squeezing of the probe mode to obtain a sharp phase distribution. Application to squeezed states leads to a phase sensitivity scaling as relative to the total number of photons impinged into the apparatus. Numerical simulations of the whole detection strategy are also also presented
Results of the measurement of the vertical profile of ozone up to a height of 70 km by means of the MR-12 and M-100 sounding rockets
The photometers used and methods of calculation of the vertical ozone concentration profile are described. The results obtained in several series of MR-12 and M-100 sounding rocket launchings are presented and discussed
