© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. The article describes the properties of wear resistant electrospark coating made of nanocrystalline alloy of type 5CP (Finemet). It is proved that electrospark coating has nanocrystalline structure which is like amorphous matrix with nanocrystals α - Fe. Coating thickness is 33 μm, micro-hardness is 8461 - 11357 MPa, wear resistance is 0,55×10 4 s/g. Coating ofnanocrystalline alloy of type 5CP can be used to increase wear resistance of machinery working surfaces

The paper presents the results of a study of the physicomechanical properties of oxide-ceramic coatings formed by plasma electrolytic oxidation on various aluminum alloys. It has been found that filling the pores of an oxide-ceramic coating with oil or applying a copper layer to its surface with a friction-mechanical method increases the wear resistance of movable joints of machine parts by 1.7 times and 4.5 times, respectively. Based on the complex of studies carried out, combined methods are proposed that significantly increase the life of reinforced parts of machines in operation

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. The article describes the innovative method of strengthening the working organs of soil-cultivating machinery, which are operated in an abrasive medium. It is performed by carbo-vibro-arc surfacing of working bodies using composite metal ceramic pastes with simultaneous thermodiffusion hardening of basic metal of the working body. Based on the results of the studies, the optimum composition and concentration of pasta components were determined, which ensure an increase in wear resistance of hardened working organs by an average of 1.8 ... 2.0 times

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. The main structural and technological factors of electric arc metallizers, which significantly affect the quality of their operation, are considered. The results of experimental studies on the adhesion strength, porosity, microhardness and comparative wear resistance of coatings obtained by electroarc metallization are presented. Optimal modes of coating with electroarc metallization are determined. It is established that the use of aerosol fluxing during electric arc metallization provides an increase in adhesion-cohesive strength by 25 ⋯ 30%, an increase in microhardness to 40%, a decrease in porosity by 20 ⋯ 25%

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. The article describes a fuel system of a diesel engine with a construction tractor multistage heating, allowing the use of pure rapeseed oil as a diesel engine fuel. The paper identified the kinematic viscosity depending on the temperature and composition of the mixed fuel, supplemented by the existing recommendations on the use of mixed fuels based on vegetable oils and developed the device allowing use as fuel for diesel engines of biofuels based on vegetable oils

Investigation of Properties of Electro-metallized Coatings Deposited by Supersonic Air Stream with Aerosol Fluxing

© 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved. The article presents the results of studies of the effect of flux components on the adhesive strength, porosity and oil absorption of coatings obtained by supersonic arc metallization (EM) using aerosol fluxing (AF) deposited on 45G2 steel with a speed v = 400-410 m/s. Due to the use of AF in EM, the adhesion strength of electrometallization coatings (EM coatings) increases. The highest value of adhesive strength is 66 MPa. Porosity due to the use of AF decreases by 1.5-1.6 times, in comparison with EM coatings without AF. At the same time, the oil absorption of EM coatings using AF decreases 1.6-1.7 times. It is advisable to use EM coatings with AF when restoring worn-out parts for various purpose equipment, as well as for eliminating defects at the production stage
