Gravitational orientation of the orbital complex, Salyut-6--Soyuz
A simple mathematical model is proposed for the Salyut-6-Soyuz orbital complex motion with respect to the center of mass under the one-axis gravity-gradient orientation regime. This model was used for processing the measurements of the orbital complex motion parameters when the above orientation region was implemented. Some actual satellite motions are simulated and the satellite's aerodynamic parameters are determined. Estimates are obtained for the accuracy of measurements as well as that of the mathematical model
Transport and optical response of molecular junctions driven by surface plasmon-polaritons
We consider a biased molecular junction subjected to external time-dependent
electromagnetic field. The field for two typical junction geometries (bowtie
antennas and metal nanospheres) is calculated within finite-difference
time-domain technique. Time-dependent transport and optical response of the
junctions is calculated within non-equilibrium Green's function approach
expressed in a form convenient for description of multi-level systems. We
present numerical results for a two-level (HOMO-LUMO) model, and discuss
influence of localized surface plasmon polariton modes on transport.Comment: 9 pages, 6 figure

Vanishing Loss Effect on the Effective ac Conductivity behavior for 2D Composite Metal-Dielectric Films At The Percolation Threshold
We study the imaginary part of the effective conductivity as well as its
distribution probability for vanishing losses in 2D composites. This
investigation showed that the effective medium theory provides only
informations about the average conductivity, while its fluctuations which
correspond to the field energy in this limit are neglected by this theory.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figures, submitted to Phys.Rev.
Anisotropic generalization of Stinchcombe's solution for conductivity of random resistor network on a Bethe lattice
Our study is based on the work of Stinchcombe [1974 \emph{J. Phys. C}
\textbf{7} 179] and is devoted to the calculations of average conductivity of
random resistor networks placed on an anisotropic Bethe lattice. The structure
of the Bethe lattice is assumed to represent the normal directions of the
regular lattice. We calculate the anisotropic conductivity as an expansion in
powers of inverse coordination number of the Bethe lattice. The expansion terms
retained deliver an accurate approximation of the conductivity at resistor
concentrations above the percolation threshold. We make a comparison of our
analytical results with those of Bernasconi [1974 \emph{Phys. Rev. B}
\textbf{9} 4575] for the regular lattice.Comment: 14 pages, 2 figure
Localization and Absorption of Light in 2D Composite Metal-Dielectric Films at the Percolation Threshold
We study in this paper the localization of light and the dielectric
properties of thin metal-dielectric composites at the percolation threshold and
around a resonant frequency where the conductivities of the two components are
of the same order. In particular, the effect of the loss in metallic components
are examined. To this end, such systems are modelized as random networks,
and the local field distribution as well as the effective conductivity are
determined by using two different methods for comparison: an exact resolution
of Kirchoff equations, and a real space renormalization group method. The
latter method is found to give the general behavior of the effective
conductivity but fails to determine the local field distribution. It is also
found that the localization still persists for vanishing losses. This result
seems to be in agreement with the anomalous absorption observed experimentally
for such systems.Comment: 14 page latex, 3 ps figures. submitte
Modelling and experimental activities of TNDT jf aviation honeycomb panels are conducted. The cases of various amount and location of water ingress are considered. The possibility of quantitative evaluation of hidden water with one and two side control is illustrated. The algoritm of quantitative evaluation of hidden water content is realized
Management of the patients with blunt renal trauma: 20 years of clinical experience
The aim of the study. Analysis of effectiveness of conservative and expectant treatment tactics under ultrasound and CT monitoring in patients with blunt renal trauma (BRT).
Materials and methods. The results of treatment of 81 patients with BRT during 20 years (1998-2017) were analyzed. Amount of men was 58 (71.6%), women - 23 (28.4%). Grade I trauma was seen in 37.0% of cases, grade II – in 25.9%, grade III – in 11.1%, grade IV – in 16.1% and grade V – in 9.9% of observations
