ANALISIS BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA DALAM PEMECAHAN MASALAH PERSAMAAN KUADRAT
This study aims to describe the creative thinking of class IX students of Kusu-Kusu Christian Middle School, Sereh Ambon, in solving quadratic equation problems. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, carried out at the Kusu-kusu Christian Middle School Sereh Ambon in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This study's data sources were grade IX students with a total of 6 subjects, namely two subjects with high, medium, and low abilities. Three subjects were interviewed from the creative thinking test results, namely, 1 with high, medium, and low abilities. Two instruments are used in this study: the main instrument, the researcher, acts as a data collector: a companion instrument, creative thinking test sheets and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests given to subjects who have studied the quadratic equation material, interviews conducted after the subjects have completed the test questions, and documentation, namely photos and videos, by following the steps of the data collection procedure. Data analysis techniques were carried out using data reduction, namely removing interview snippet data that were not by the research flow, presenting data in the form of narrative texts, and conclusions or verification, namely drawing conclusions based on test and interview results, for objectivity and validity. Data is used with credibility (degree of trust), which involves triangulation of sources. The results showed that high-ability subjects could solve three questions properly and correctly, which met all indicators of creative thinking in solving problems. PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 20 AMBON YANG DIAJARKAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT FACILITATOR AND EXPLAINING DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAKONVENSIONAL PADA MATERI SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINIER DUA VARIABEL
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Student Facilitator And Explaining dan model pembelajaran Konvensional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari tiga kelas di mana satu kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelas eksperimen yang masing-masing berjumlah 40 siswa. Teknik analisis data, yaitu Analisis Deskriptif dan Uji-t (uji beda rata-rata). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VIII1 memiliki nilai rata-rata post test 47,33. Sedangkan, kelas VIII3 memiliki nilai rata-rata post test 31,49. Adapun, hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas dari kedua kelas yang digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah normal dan homogen, sehingga untuk pengujian hipotesis digunakan uji-t (independent sample t-test) diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari nilai α=0,05 yaitu 0,023 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Ambon yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Student Facilitator And Explaining dan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabe
Pendekatan Permainan Tradisional Mutel untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Tentang Lingkaran
This study aims to improve student learning outcomes about circles topics in mathematics through the traditional game namely marbles. The research has been conducted using experiments method with Posttest Only Control Group Design. Students of grade eight in SMP Negeri 2 Nusalaut, Central Maluku Regency were subject, where students in class VIII1 as an experiment class and using marbles while students at class VIII2 as a conventional class. Data were collected from the essay test and it was analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the average of students learning outcomes in the class experiment is 74.43 and the average of learning outcomes of class control is 64.50. It means that the learning outcomes of students who taught by using approach the traditional game marbles increase compared with the learning outcomes of students taught by conventional approache
