Nonequilibrium electron spin polarization in a double quantum dot. Lande mechanism
In moderately strong magnetic fields, the difference in Lande g-factors in
each of the dots of a coupled double quantum dot device may induce oscillations
between singlet and triplet states of the entangled electron pair and lead to a
nonequilibrium electron spin polarization. We will show that this polarization
may partially survive the rapid inhomogeneous decoherence due to random nuclear
magnetic fields.Comment: New version contains figures. New title better reflects the content

TECHNIQUE AND EXPERIENCE OF SEISMIC ZONING OF THE CITIES OF ULAANBAATAR AND ERDENET
Optimum approach to an engineering-seismological assessment of mastered territories in regions of the Mongol-Baikal seismic zone is developed. On this basis seismic zoning of the cities of Ulaanbaatar and Erdenet is carried out. As a result schematic maps of the studied cities are made and the short characteristic of the allocated zones is given on the basis of calculated and experimental values of seismic effects parameters for the predicted large earthquakes
Spin decoherence of a heavy hole coupled to nuclear spins in a quantum dot
We theoretically study the interaction of a heavy hole with nuclear spins in
a quasi-two-dimensional III-V semiconductor quantum dot and the resulting
dephasing of heavy-hole spin states. It has frequently been stated in the
literature that heavy holes have a negligible interaction with nuclear spins.
We show that this is not the case. In contrast, the interaction can be rather
strong and will be the dominant source of decoherence in some cases. We also
show that for unstrained quantum dots the form of the interaction is
Ising-like, resulting in unique and interesting decoherence properties, which
might provide a crucial advantage to using dot-confined hole spins for quantum
information processing, as compared to electron spins
Information sources in the educational activities of students of a medical university
The article presents the results of a study devoted to the study of information sources that students use during the period of distance learning due to the covid-19 pandemic. During the study, it was shown that 5th year students are aware of the existence of most authoritative sources of information, however, their application in the educational process is limited. It was also shown that 56% of students participate in additional educational activities 1-2 times a year or less, which requires the development of corrective measuresВ статье приведены результаты исследования, посвященного изучению информационных источников, к которым прибегают студенты в период дистанционного обучения, обусловленного пандемией «ковид-19».
