Interrelation of Anisotropy of Magnetic Properties and Magnetodielectric Effect in a Cu3B2O6 Single Crystal
Π’Π΅ΠΊΡΡ ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠΈ Π½Π΅ ΠΏΡΠ±Π»ΠΈΠΊΡΠ΅ΡΡΡ Π² ΠΎΡΠΊΡΡΡΠΎΠΌ Π΄ΠΎΡΡΡΠΏΠ΅ Π² ΡΠΎΠΎΡΠ²Π΅ΡΡΡΠ²ΠΈΠΈ Ρ ΠΏΠΎΠ»ΠΈΡΠΈΠΊΠΎΠΉ ΠΆΡΡΠ½Π°Π»Π°.The effect of an external magnetic field on permittivity has been studied in a Cu3B2O6 single crystal
with a layered structure in the direction perpendicular to layers (bc-planes). It has been found that the appreciable
magnetodielectric effect in the temperature range below the NΓ©el temperature (β10 K) takes place only
at one magnetic field orientation H and one crystallographic direction, i.e., H || b. Such βselectivityβ of the
magnetodielectric effect correlates with the anisotropic behavior of magnetic properties of the crystal

Establishing of peak eο¬ect in YBCO by Nd substitution
Y0.75Nd0.25Ba2Cu3O7βd superconductor has the peak eο¬ect with pronounced ο¬shtail feature on magnetization hysteresis. The magnetic ο¬eld of the peak eο¬ect maximum is in ~4 times higher than one of NdBa2Cu3O7βd. The magnetization hysteresis is tilted anticlockwise due to paramagnetic Nd3+ ions occurred on the surface of grains and in the vortex cores
