Line scale Comparator Carriage vibrations during dynamic calibration
Oscillations of the comparator, which is used for the dynamic calibration of long optical line scales, are analyzed in the paper. The accuracy of determination of the position of optical lines on the scale depends on the velocity of the carriage, which transports the microscope with a CCD camera in relation to the line scale. Oscillations influence the velocity equability, its value, and at the same time the error compo measuring. The base part of the comparator is acted upon by external excitations which come through the foundation and supports, also due to natural frequencies of the comparator set. It is shown in the work that vibration surroundings acting on the comparator have a random character and correspond to the criteria of the normal (Gauss) distribution. It is proved experimentally that preaching amplitudes of measured components of vertical and horizontal oscillations influence the stability of the carriage movement which causes the error of measurin
Optimization of the rocket’s nose and nozzle design parameters in respect to its aerodynamic characteristics
The airflow around rockets with various nose cone and nozzle cone geometric parameters is investigated in this paper. The mathematical background and the computational model of airflow around the rocket are designed for that purpose. ANSYS CFX computer modeling software is used to compute the airflow velocities, pressure, airflow turbulence kinetic energy, drag force and drag coefficient dependencies on rocket flight velocity. Optimization of the rocket’s nose cone and nozzle cone geometry in respect to qualitative and quantitative parameters of rocket’s aerodynamic characteristics is performed

Research of dynamics of the vibration isolation platform
Performance of negative-stiffness vibroisolating table „Minus K500BM-1“ was analyzed in a frequency range of 2-110 Hz. The paper also reviewed other possible ways of vibroisolation. Performed experimental vibrations transmissibility tests were reported as well. A special vibration excitation equipment was tested in research facilities. Subsequently, experimental test methods were described together with presentation of results and conclusions of experimental analysi

Experimental research of vibrations of angle measurement comparator
The aim of the presented research was to determine calibration error caused by mechanical instability of angle measurement comparator system. Vibrations were measured at the significant points of the system and dynamic characteristics of the system were subsequently established
Impact of external excitations on the dynamic properties of negative-stiffness vibration Isolation table
This paper presents a study of the efficiency of a negative-stiffness vibration isolation table Minus K 500BM-1 in the frequency range of 2–110 Hz. An overview of other possible methods of vibration isolation is provided. Experimental testing of vibration transmissibility was conducted. Special vibration excitation equipment was tested, which enables the planned studies of the object in question to be carried out
Experimental analysis of the robotized assembly applying vibrations
Main stages of the vibratory assembly, i.e. part-to-part alignment and joining of the cylindrical parts are considered in the presented paper. The shaft is movably based in the remote compliance center device, which is attached to robotic gripper, while the bushing is immovably located on the platform of the vibrator and provided with vibratory excitation along the joining axis direction. The experimental setup and research technique are presented. Vibratory alignment duration dependences on bushing excitation frequency, amplitude of the acceleration and on the axial misalignment of parts were established. The areas of excitation and system parameters sets for reliable part-to-part alignment were determined. Dependences of shaft and bushing joining stages durations on bushing excitation frequency, amplitude and axial misalignment of the parts were analyzed. It was determined that vibratory excitation during the joining provides possibility to avoid jamming of the part
