Raining influence with biofeedback on system mother fetus was investigated. The technique of biofeedback training for the pregnant women was developed, which had main objective to control of parameters of vegetative nervous system by means of breath. The technique was tested on a group of pregnant wo men on term of a gestation of 32–35 weeks. It is established: change of a functional condition of mother influences level of sympathetic regulation of a heart rhythm of a fetus.

Air pollution mapping with nitrogen and sulfur dioxides in the south-eastern part of Ukraine using satellite data

Atmospheric pollution in Ukraine has become a significant environmental problem, especially in the eastern part where heavy industries are located, and it is particularly severe in industrial centers such as; Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovs’k and Dniprodzerzhyns’k. The main emission sources are ferrous metallurgical plants and the coal industry. The purpose of this project is to estimate the degree of pollution from dioxides of nitrogen and sulfur in the south-eastern part of Ukraine using satellite data. An assessment of atmospheric pollution by NO2 is carried out using the data from satellite spectrometer EOS/OMI, and information products Level 3 from Goddard Earth Sciences Data, (GES DISC) NASA for 2009-2014. According to the results study, the largest area of propagation of SO2 aerosol was observed in the industrial agglomerations of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovs’k and Vilnohirs’k.However, a somewhat smaller content of NO2 in the air recorded near the town of Kryvyi Rih and the cities of Vilnohirs’k and Zaporizhia. The results obtained from this research will aid the creation of awareness among Ukraine’s policy makers about the need for air pollution abatement, and also serve as a stepping stone towards addressing the negative impacts of acid rains

Objective – genotyping by multilocus sequence-typing (MLST) and phylogenetic analysis of 40 Bacillus anthracis strains isolated in Russia and neighboring countries.Materials and methods. In this study, the sequences of seven housekeeping genes of B. anthracis strains were assembled based on the data of a whole genome new generation sequencing, after which the identified mutations and their coordinates were described. The obtained sequences were used for genotyping of the investigated sample using the MLST method. The results are compared with the data presented in PubMLST database. A phylogenetic analysis was performed for the in silico fused sequences of the seven loci of the identified sequence types. The MEGA 7.0 software package was used to build the dendrograms. Results and discussion. Two sequence types (ST) have been found in the examined sample: 35 strains belong to ST-1, and five strains that differed by one common mutation at the glpF locus – to ST-3 (according to PubMLST coding), which emphasizes the genetic separation of this group of strains. One strain has a unique mutation in the gmk gene located outside the region used for MLST

Human Herpesviruses Increase the Severity of Hepatitis

Acute and chronic liver diseases are a major global public health problem; nevertheless, the etiology of 12–30% of cases remains obscure. The purpose of this research was to study the incidence of human herpesviruses (HHVs) cytomegalovirus, Epstein–Barr virus (EBV), and HHV-6 in patients with hepatitis and to examine the effect of HHV on the disease severity. We studied the clinical materials of 259 patients with hepatitis treated in Infectious Clinic n.1 (Moscow) and the archived materials of 118 patients with hepatitis C. HHV DNA was detected in the whole blood in 13.5% of patients with hepatitis B or C and in 10.1% of patients with hepatitis of unspecified etiology. EBV demonstrated the highest incidence (58.1%). Cirrhosis was diagnosed in 50% of patients with HHV and in 15.6% of patients without HHV. In patients with hepatitis C, the frequency of HHV was higher in liver biopsy (38.7%) compared to blood. The clinical and virological indicators of hepatitis were considerably higher in patients with coinfection. Conclusion: HHV detected in patients with viral hepatitis has been associated with a significant effect on the severity of the disease, and we suggest monitoring HHV DNA in patients with severe hepatitis and/or poor response to antiviral drugs
