Search for MSSM Higgses at the Tevatron
We present an overview of searches for MSSM Higgs at the Tevatron,
concentrating on searches probing the high tan(beta) region. We discuss the
search for A/H -> tau tau which is soon to be completed in the Run I data and
review the new tau triggers implemented by CDF and D0 in Run II, which will
greatly impact this analysis. We also present the results of a Run I search for
A/H bb -> bbbb performed by CDF and highlight expected improvements in this
channel by both experiments in Run II.Comment: 3 pages with 1 figure, to be published in "Proceedings of the 31st

Fermion-boson loops with bilinear R-parity violation leading to Majorana neutrino mass and magnetic moments
We present analytic expressions corresponding to a set of one loop Feynman
diagrams, built within R-parity violating (RpV) minimal supersymmetric standard
model (MSSM). Diagrams involve both bilinear and trilinear RpV couplings and
represent Majorana neutrino masses and magnetic moments.Comment: I've decided to move the collection of my papers to arXiv for easier

The Higgs mass in the MSSM infrared fixed point scenario
In the infrared fixed point (IFP) scenario of the minimal supersymmetric
model (MSSM), the top-quark mass and other physical quantities of the
low-energy theory are insensitive to the values of the parameters of the theory
at some high energy scale. In this framework we evaluate the light CP-even
Higgs mass, , taking into account some important effects that had not been
previously considered. In particular, the supersymmetric correction to the
relation between the running and the physical top-quark masses lowers the value
of , thereby implying a lower predicted value of . Assuming a
supersymmetric threshold of TeV and GeV, we find an upper
bound of GeV; the most plausible value of lies somewhat
below the upper bound. This places the Higgs boson in the IFP scenario well
within the reach of the LEP-2 Higgs search.Comment: 18 pages, LaTeX, 5 ps figures, uses psfig.sty. Final version, some

Bank Accounting Standards in Mexico. A laymanâs guide to changes 10 years after the 1995 bank crisis
After the 1995 crisis, the Mexican banking system experienced significant changes in bank accounting standards. Most of these changes took place between 1996 and 2001, and had a significant impact in the structure and interpretation of financial information of banks. This document explains the major changes on bank accounting, their purpose and structure, and discusses their impact on financial information reported by Mexican banks. It also provides the English equivalent of the major accounting terms used by Mexican banks. The main purpose of this document is to provide a standardized guide to better understand financial information produced before and after the crisis, within the current context of internationalization of Mexican banks' ownership.
Majorana neutrino magnetic moments
The presence of trilinear R-parity violating interactions in the MSSM
lagrangian leads to existence of quark-squark and lepton-slepton loops which
generate mass of the neutrino. By introducing interaction with an external
photon the magnetic moment is obtained. We derive bounds on that quantity being
around one order of magnitude stronger than those present in the literature.Comment: I've decided to move the collection of my papers to arXiv for easier

CP sensitive observables in chargino production and decay into a W boson
We study CP sensitive observables in chargino production in electron-positron
collisions with subsequent two-body decay of one chargino into a W boson. We
identify the CP odd elements of the W boson density matrix and propose CP
sensitive triple-product asymmetries of the chargino decay products. We
calculate the density-matrix elements, the CP asymmetries and the cross
sections in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex parameters
\mu and M_1 for an e+ e- linear collider with \sqrt{s} = 800 GeV and
longitudinally polarized beams. The asymmetries can reach 7% and we discuss the
feasibility of measuring these asymmetries.Comment: 23 pages, 7 figure
Relativistic Quantum Thermodynamics of Ideal Gases in 2 Dimensions
In this work we study the behavior of relativistic ideal Bose and Fermi gases
in two space dimensions. Making use of polylogarithm functions we derive a
closed and unified expression for their densities. It is shown that both type
of gases are essentially inequivalent, and only in the non-relativistic limit
the spinless and equal mass Bose and Fermi gases are equivalent as known in the
literature.Comment: 6 pages, 1 figur
