The objective of the present investigation was to analyze the benefits that the food merchants of Muisne canton had the right to, to under the Solidarity Law. The study had a non-experimental descriptive design that allowed the 37 food merchants of the isle to describe the effects they had due to the April 2016 earthquake and the aid received from different sources. Among the most relevant results were damage to the infrastructure of the places, reduction in sales, delay in the provision of products for marketing, little use of tax incentives and limitations in accessing financing sources. Among the most relevant conclusions can be indicated that the commercial objects of study accessed very few benefits of those offered by the Law of Solidarity and Citizen Co-Responsibility for the economic reactivation of the affected areas.

Poisson's Ratio and Young's Modulus of Lipid Bilayers in Different Phases

A general computational method is introduced to estimate the Poisson鈥檚 ratio for membranes with small thickness. In this method, the Poisson鈥檚 ratio is calculated by utilizing a rescaling of inter-particle distances in one lateral direction under periodic boundary conditions. As an example for the coarse grained lipid model introduced by Lenz and Schmid, we calculate the Poisson鈥檚 ratio in the gel, fluid, and interdigitated phases. Having the Poisson鈥檚 ratio, enable us to obtain the Young鈥檚 modulus for the membranes in different phases. The approach may be applied to other membranes such as graphene and tethered membranes in order to predict the temperature dependence of its Poisson鈥檚 ratio and Young鈥檚 modulus.BN/BionanoscienceApplied Science
