To support regional autonomy the central government issued Law (UU) no. 23 of 2014 which has given authority to the Regional Government to manage and regulate its own government, this includes regional financial management which ultimately must be accountable to the public through the presentation of financial which are an element of Regional Financial Information. To carry out this mandate, the Simeulue Regency Government since 2007 has used the SIMDA Finance application as an information system for its financial management so that it can manage finances in an accountable and transparent manner. hinder the performance of the Financial SIMDA, which In the course of its implementation, the Simeulue Regency Government has found obstacles that gradually fix these inhibiting factors and implement supporting factors that can improve the performance of the Financial SIMDA. This study aims to determine the factors that hinder and support the implementation of SIMDA Finance in Simeulue Regency. This research method uses qualitative, research subjects consist of SIMDA Finance users who have used the application for more than three years, data collection techniques using observations, interviews and documents, data validity techniques using data triangulation. data analysis technique using NVIVO. The results show that the five main factors that support the implementation of SIMDA Finance in Simeulue Regency are software, leader commitment, network, hardware, and attitude of the implementer. Meanwhile, the five main factors that hinder the implementation of SIMDA Finance are human resources, software, networks, hardware and the attitude of the implementers. The factors that are the same between supporters and obstacles to SIMDA Finance are caused by researchers looking at different sides of these factors in implementing SIMDA Finance

Ergasilus holobryconis sp.n., a crustacean parasite of Holobrycon pesu (MĂśLLER & TROSCHELL), a fish from the Brazilian Amazon (Copepoda: Poecilostom-atoida: Ergasilidae)

    No full text
The female of Ergasilus holobryconis n. sp. (Copepoda: Poecilostomatoida: Ergasilidae) is described from the branchial cavities of an Amazon fish, Holobrycon pesu (MÜLLER & TROSCHELL) collected in the Ji-Paraná (Machado) river, tributary of Madeira river, near Ji-Paraná, Rondônia, Brazil. The new specie is distinguished from the others by the shape of the pectinate seta on the third segment of the fìrst exopod, the format and disposition of bristles in the mouthparts and by having a smaller size

Post-Mortem Immunohistochemical Evidence of β2-Adrenergic Receptor Expression in the Adrenal Gland

The evidence from post-mortem biochemical studies conducted on cortisol and catecholamines suggest that analysis of the adrenal gland could provide useful information about its role in human pathophysiology and the stress response. Authors designed an immunohistochemical study on the expression of the adrenal β2-adrenergic receptor (β2-AR), a receptor with high-affinity for catecholamines, with the aim to show which zones it is expressed in and how its expression differs in relation to the cause of death. The immunohistochemical study was performed on adrenal glands obtained from 48 forensic autopsies of subjects that died as a result of different pathogenic mechanisms using a mouse monoclonal β2-AR antibody. The results show that immunoreactivity for β2-AR was observed in all adrenal zones. Furthermore, immunoreactivity for β2-AR has shown variation in the localization and intensity of different patterns in relation to the original cause of death. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that demonstrates β2-AR expression in the human cortex and provides suggestions on the possible involvement of β2-AR in human cortex hormonal stimulation. In conclusion, the authors provide a possible explanation for the observed differences in expression in relation to the cause of death

Optical transition probabilites and compositional dependence of Judd-Ofelt parameters of Er3+ ions in fluoroindate glass

Fluoroindate glasses containing 1, 2, 3, and 4 mol% ErF3 were prepared in a dry box under an argon atmosphere. Absorption spectra of these glasses at room temperature were obtained. The Judd-Ofelt parameters Omegalambda (lambda = 2, 4, 6) for f-f transitions of Er3+ ions as well as transition probabilities, branching ratios, radiative lifetimes, and peak cross-sections for stimulated emission of each band were determined. The concentration effect on the intensities is analyzed. The optical properties of the fluoroindate glasses doped with Er3+ ions are compared with those of other glasses described in the literature

Vacuum-assisted closure therapy after resection of giant basal cell carcinoma of the scalp

Management of complicated wounds is a challenge in head and neck reconstruction. Although the negative pressure wound therapy or wound vacuum-assisted closure has been widely used in complicated wounds and shows promising results, its application in the head and neck region after reconstruction for the head and neck cancer is rarely presented. A 77-year-old woman underwent a radical resection of an extensive basal cell carcinoma of the scalp and forehead involving the periosteum, where classic reconstruction was difficult, but successfully treated with negative pressure wound therapy. Negative pressure wound therapy is an efficacious tool in cases of complex and extensive defects, when we expect immediate reconstruction with poor results, as would be probable with this scalp lesion.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

    Atypical presentation of sigmoid carcinoma

Colorectal carcinoma is common worldwide and its metastasis represents the main cause of mortality related to the disease. Inguinal metastization of this tumor has been considered almost impossible, owing to colon anatomy and its cranial lymphatic drainage. We report the case of a 63-year-old man submitted to laparoscopical sigmoid colectomy, due a sigmoid adenocarcinoma. During follow-up, a right inguinal lymphadenopathy with 25 mm was detected. Fine needle aspiration biopsy revealed that it was a colon adenocarcinoma metastasis, and thus the patient underwent an inguinal lymphadenectomy. The histological study confirmed metastatic adenocarcinoma of the colon and the patient was submitted to 5-fluouracil and oxaliplatin chemotherapy. This case coursed with metastasis to the right inguinal region; although, the pathophysiological mechanism involved is difficult to understand. There are no solid data for the management of these patients. Inguinal lymphadenectomy and chemotherapy, proved to be effective.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
