    Extrusion die life prediction: A probabilistic approach

Monte-Carlo simulation technique is adopted to simulate the die life data. A comparison is also made with the real life data collected .from an extrusion plant. Weibull model is found to be a suitable distribution for the extrusion die life data. </span
