Assuring food security is one of the challenges in low and middle-income countries with their rapid urbanization. The role of women has been identified as a key to food security in rural societies, however, yet to make conclusions in an urban setting. Hence this study tries to analyse the role of women in urban households while addressing the context-specific social and cultural differences of women’s role in Asia. The study uses data from Sri Lanka Household Income and Expenditure Survey-2016 and estimates the impact of women's role using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The relative status of food security of each household is measured using the Household Dietary Diversity Score (HDDS). The study finds a higher level of food security is associated with a higher level of female education. Similarly, households are more food secure when women are more responsible for household income. Further, it reveals that the economic burden on women being the single income earner has not affected on changing the level of food security in their households

These days with extreme responsibility and occupied life, many professionals face problems that result in the loss of their clients or certain overheads that spoil the process of satisfying the client. The proposed web application will be utilized by interior designers, garden designers, or architects. This proposed research doubtlessly goes about as a powerful device that can diminish the hole between modern organizations and clients notwithstandin8g other relevant business networks. It will help in picturing architectural plans, garden designs, and interior designs. A virtual model of genuine climate can be planned before its actual execution, it will permit inside originators to carry out their thought in the given work area essentially and afterward view it in genuine climate, it will likewise architects, interior designers, and garden designers to see their 3D perceptions on their 2D drawings [1]. The application depends on my discoveries of the client's assumptions for an expanded reality inside plan administration, a help which is a mix of different uses of web-based entertainment, increased reality (AR) and three-dimensional displaying that encases the idea of the home plan. This concentration particularly spans all clients of applicable organizations to the client escalated plan of an expanded reality. The paper gives you the internal profundity on how the expanded reality can be carried out to work with the planners and interior creators and garden designers too it talks about the calculation used to accomplish the functionalities. Furthermore, in this paper the architects and interior designers, and garden designers as welldiscuss the algorithm used to achieve the functionalities

Abstract: Establishing tubal patency is necessary for the treatment of subfertility. Hysterosalpingo contrast sonography (HyCoSy) is one of recommended screening test but is expensive. Vaginal sonographic hydrotubation using agitated saline and size 8 Foley catheter can be used to reduce the cost. The objective of the study is to determine the diagnostic accuracy of vaginal sonographic hydrotubation using agitated saline as a screening test for tubal patency. 42 patients with infertility were evaluated for tubal patency. Vaginal sonographic hydrotubation was performed using a size 8 Foley urinary catheter and agitated saline solution as a contrast medium to assess tubal patency. Results were compared with findings at laparoscopy and chromotubation performed independently. All patients received prophylactic antibiotics prior to procedure. The findings of both methods agreed in 71 out of 84 tubes (concordance, 84.5%). The sensitivity for tubal patency was 84.9% and the specificity 81.8%. The positive predictive value 96.8% and the negative predictive value was 45.0%. The pretest probability was 86% and posttest probability 96%. Adverse events included moderate to severe abdominal pain in two patients and mild discomfort during procedure. No infectious complications recorded. From the study it can be concluded that vaginal sonographic hydrotubation utilizing agitated saline as a contrast medium and a size 8 Foley urinary catheter is a reliable, simple and well-tolerated method to assess tubal patency in an outpatient setting. In addition, detection of other pathologies related to subfertility is also possible at the time of screening

Reduction of unnecessary N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) tests: A further lesson in demand management

The number of laboratory tests performed in the UK is steadily increasing (average 8-10% year-on-year increase).1 Funding for these tests is not increasing at the same rate. Hence, considerable interest has focused on managing the demand for pathology tests. A wealth of data now exist highlighting a significant degree of unnecessary requesting,1-6 with commonly requested tests imposing a major cost burden upon healthcare systems. Recently, we reported on a previous success in implementing a demand management strategy to reduce inappropriate C-reactive protein testing,7 highlighting savings that can be made by undertaking these kinds of projects. Serum Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) and the N-Terminal BNP pro-hormone (NT-proBNP) are other tests showing marked year-on-year increases in most UK laboratories (Figure 1; Walsall NT-proBNP data)
