Morphometric and Doppler indices of placentas’ vascular bed in women with feto-placental insufficiency and full-term pregnancy in a polar climate
The results are submitted of the study by morphometry of placentas of full-term pregnancies with clinically and morphologically confirmed compensated placental insufficiency in Polar women with different periods of residence under extreme conditions. Doppler indices were compared with that of 3-5 days before the onset of term births.Представлены результаты исследования с помощью метода морфометрии плацент при доношенной беременности, протекавшей с клинико-морфологически подтвержденной компенсированной фето-плацентарной недостаточностью у женщин Приполярья с различными сроками проживания в субэкстремальных условиях. Проведены сопоставления с показателями допплерографии, осуществленной за 3-5 суток до наступления срочных родов
Percutaneous cystolithotripsy for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia
Introduction. According to the literature, 5.0% of patients with urolithiasis are characterized by the presence of stones in the bladder. The issue of bladder stones for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia remains relevant and requires further improvement of approaches to surgical treatment.Purpose of the study. To evaluate the safety and efficacy of energy-diverse percutaneous cystolithotripsy (and placement of a cystostomy catheter) in comparison with transurethral cystolithotripsy.Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of 56 cases in patients (aged 54-82 years) with bladder stones was carried out. All patients were treated in the Urology Clinic of the Mechnikov North-Western State Medical University from 2019 to 2021. Two groups were formed: group I — 26 (46.4%) patients who underwent percutaneous cystolithotripsy, group II — 30 (53.6%) patients underwent transurethral cystolithotripsy. The duration of surgery, intraoperative and postoperative complications were assessed.Results. On average, the duration of surgery for the percutaneous approach was shorter than for transurethral access (35 vs 44 min). The stone-free rate in the case of the percutaneous approach was 100.0%, while in transurethral cystolithotripsy the stone-free rate was 90.0%. In the early postoperative period, in groups I and II, gross hematuria was observed for 2 (7.6%) and 4 (13.3%) patients, respectively. In the late postoperative period, 2 patients from group II had a urethral stricture.Conclusions. Percutaneous cystolithotripsy is a minimally invasive method of stone fragmentation, characterized by a minimal risk of intra- and postoperative complications
Децеллюляризованная строма пуповины в тканевой инженерии и регенеративной медицине: систематический обзор
Despite great progress in the field of biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, the high requirements placed on artificial matrices (matrices, carriers, scaffolds) are the reason for the ongoing search for natural or synthetic extracellular matrix mimetics. Among such materials, decellularized umbilical cord (UC) stroma appears to be very attractive – it has a high content of hyaluronic acid, cytokines, and growth factors, and there are no ethical restrictions for its production. Decellularized UC stroma has been found to promote cartilage, liver tissue and nerve tissue repair, as well as wound healing. The review critically analyzes and summarizes published data on the ability of decellularized UC stroma to maintain the necessary conditions for adhesion, migration, differentiation and functional activity of adherent cells, thus stimulating the internal (physiological) regenerative potential of tissues. Literature was searched for in the following electronic databases: Medline/PubMed (www/ncbi. nlm.nih.gov/pubmed), Cochrane library (https://www.cochrane.org), and eLIBRARY/Russian Science Citation Index (https://www.elibrary.ru). Inclusion criteria were the presence of biomaterials obtained from decellularized human UC stroma. Exclusion criteria for papers included research objects as decellularized umbilical cord vessels (veins and arteries) and umbilical cord cell cultures. Twenty-five original articles in English and Russian were selected for analysis of the products obtained, their applications, decellularization methods and research results. The review also discusses the prospects for decellularized umbilical cord in medicine.Несмотря на большой прогресс в области создания биоматериалов для тканевой инженерии и регенеративной медицины, высокие требования, предъявляемые к искусственным матриксам (матрицам, носителям, скаффолдам), являются причиной продолжающегося поиска природных или синтетических миметиков внеклеточного матрикса. Среди таких материалов многообещающим представляется децеллюляризованная строма пуповины благодаря высокому содержанию гиалуроновой кислоты, цитокинов и факторов роста, а также отсутствию этических ограничений для ее получения. Описано, что децеллюляризованная строма пуповины способствует восстановлению хряща, печеночной ткани, нервной ткани и заживлению ран. В обзоре дан критический анализ и обобщены опубликованные данные, касающиеся способности децеллюляризованной стромы пуповины поддерживать необходимые условия для адгезии, миграции, дифференцировки и функциональной активности адгезированных клеток, стимулируя, таким образом, внутренний (физиологический) регенеративный потенциал тканей. Поиск литературы проводился в электронных базах данных Medline/PubMed (www/ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed), Cochrane library (https://www.cochrane.org), eLIBRARY / Российский индекс научного цитирования (https://www.elibrary.ru). Критериями включения было присутствие биоматериалов, полученных из децеллюляризованной стромы пуповины. Критериями исключения статей были такие объекты исследования, как децеллюляризованные сосуды (вены и артерии) пуповины, а также культуры клеток пуповины. Для анализа получаемых продуктов, областей их применения, методов децеллюляризации и результатов исследований были выбраны 25 оригинальных статей на английском и русском языках. Extensive penile skin necrosis after surgery for Peyronie's disease
The clinical case represents the surgical correction of postoperative complications in a patient with Peyronie's disease. The patient underwent flap corporoplasty using an autovein. The late postoperative period in the patient was complicated by extensive necrosis of the penile skin, which required repeated surgery as follows. The first stage of surgical treatment was performed by excision of necrotic tissues of the penile skin. Within 10 days of the postoperative period, chymotrypsin with an ointment containing dioxomethyltetrahydropyrimidine with chloramphenicol was applied to the penile wound surface to prepare the wound for subsequent skin autotransplantation. Further, within 5 days, the polymeric drainage sorbent «Aseptisorb DT» was applied to the wound surface until the wound was cleansed and granulation tissue was formed. The second stage of the surgical treatment performed penile skin replacement plasty with a free perforated skin graft taken from the patient's femoral surface
Measurement of decay rate and parameters at KEDR
Using the inclusive photon spectrum based on a data sample collected at the
peak with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M collider, we
measured the rate of the radiative decay as well
as mass and width. Taking into account an asymmetric photon

Precise measurement of and between 1.84 and 3.72 GeV at the KEDR detector
The present work continues a series of the KEDR measurements of the value
that started in 2010 at the VEPP-4M collider. By combining new data
with our previous results in this energy range we measured the values of
and at nine center-of-mass energies between 3.08 and 3.72
GeV. The total accuracy is about or better than at most of energy
points with a systematic uncertainty of about . Together with the
previous precise measurement at KEDR in the energy range 1.84-3.05 GeV, it
constitutes the most detailed high-precision measurement near the

Measurement of B(J/psi->eta_c gamma) at KEDR
We present a study of the inclusive photon spectrum from 6.3 million J/psi
decays collected with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e+e- collider. We
measure the branching fraction of the radiative decay J/psi -> eta_c gamma,
eta_c width and mass. Taking into account an asymmetric photon line shape we
obtain: M(eta_c) = (2978.1 +- 1.4 +- 2.0) MeV/c^2, Gamma(eta_c) = (43.5 +- 5.4
+- 15.8) MeV, B(J/psi->eta_c gamma) = (2.59 +- 0.16 +- 0.31)%$.Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure. To be published in the proceedings of the 4th
