Actualization of the Invariant Semantics of the STAR Symbol in Texts of Russian Rock Poetry

The questions of the invariant semantics of the symbol and its actualization in the texts of Russian rock poetry are considered. Attention is paid to the studies of the symbol, concept and image of the star in Russian poetry and rock poetry. The author notes that these studies do not present the correlation of individually authored imaginative worldview with the worldview of the subculture reflected in the text. A review of the work of linguistic poetics and anthropocentric linguistics is performed. The definitions of a symbol within the framework of these paradigms are given. It is concluded that the understanding of a symbol as a carrier of the worldview of culture changes the idea of the connection between the signifier and the signified and the “reference point” of the aesthetic. The author proceeds from the fact that the aesthetic image is built on the basis of the invariant semantics of a symbol in the language of subculture. The results of a comparative analysis of the symbolic semantics of the star nomination in the language of Russian rock poetry and other subsystems of the Russian national language, including aesthetically oriented ones, are presented. It is shown that the invariant semantics of the STAR symbol, relevant for Russian rock poetry, lies at the heart of the star’s images, which are identical, connected and contrasted with the author’s image. It is proved that the actualization of the semantics of the STAR symbol does not depend on the specific author and the text of Russian rock poetry, reproduces general ideas about the world

Scalar form factor of the nucleon and nucleon--scalar meson coupling constant in QCD

Scalar form factor of the nucleon is calculated in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules, using the most general form of the baryon current. Using the result on scalar form factor of the nucleon, the nucleon-scalar "sigma" and "a_0" meson coupling constants are estimated. Our results on these couplings are in good agreement with the prediction of the external field QCD sum rules method.Comment: 20 pages, 12 figures, LaTeX formatte

Content Analysis of Rock Poetry Texts when Describing the Semantics of the WAY and ROAD Symbols

The article deals with the question of methods for describing lexical semantics. Special attention is paid to symbols — linguistic signs expressing the worldview of culture. The relevance of the study is due to the need to develop an objective description methodology that meets both modern concepts of the semantics of a word and the nature of a symbol. A review of modern concepts of the word meaning is carried out. The question is raised about the possibility of describing the semantics of a symbol based on the analysis of the contextual environment of a linguistic sign. Attention is paid to cases of direct, figurative, symbolic and regular arbitrary use of the word. The author’s development of a methodology for qualitative and quantitative content analysis of a representative sample of texts in describing the semantics of a symbol is presented. The classification of the levels of analysis of the composition of words that form the context of the use of the symbol is proposed. The author dwells on the stages and procedures for extracting the semantics of a symbol from the context in which it is used. The results of a comparative analysis of the semantics of the WAY and ROAD symbols in the language of Russian rock poetry are presented. It is proved that the presented methodology allows describing the semantics of a symbol, relying not on the abstract logic of the relationship of concepts, but on the semantic relations fixed in the text. The novelty of the research is seen in the fact that this technique allows us to consider a symbol not as an occasional, but as a linguistic unit, regularly reproduced by the carriers of the corresponding representations

Scalar form-factor of the proton with light-cone QCD sum rules

In this article, we calculate the scalar form-factor of the proton in the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules approach with the three valence quark light-cone distribution amplitudes up to twist-6, and observe the scalar form-factor σ(t=Q2)\sigma(t=-Q^2) at intermediate and large momentum transfers Q2>2GeV2Q^2> 2GeV^2 has significant contributions from the end-point (or soft) terms. The numerical values for the σ(t=Q2)\sigma(t=-Q^2) are compatible with the calculations from the chiral quark model and lattice QCD at the region Q2>2GeV2Q^2>2GeV^2.Comment: 18 pages, 7 figures, revised versio

Perturbative QCD Analysis of the Nucleon's Pauli Form Factor F_2(Q^2)

We perform a perturbative QCD analysis of the nucleon's Pauli form factor F2(Q2)F_2(Q^2) in the asymptotically large Q2Q^2 limit. We find that the leading contribution to F2(Q2)F_2(Q^2) has a 1/Q61/Q^6 power behavior, consistent with the well-known result in the literature. Its coefficient depends on the leading- and subleading-twist light-cone wave functions of the nucleon, the latter describing the quarks with one unit of orbital angular momentum. We also derive at the logarithmic accurary the asymptotic scaling F2(Q2)/F1(Q2)(log2Q2/Λ2)/Q2F_2(Q^2)/F_1(Q^2) \sim (\log^2 Q^2/\Lambda^2)/Q^2 which describes recent Jefferson Lab data well.Comment: 4 papes, 3 figures include
