From preliminary survey results 55% of bus drivers at Tirtonadi Terminal are driving more than 4 hours with less than 30 minutes rest time. Transport workers such as bus drivers are exposed to various health problems including mucosuleletal disorders. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between sitting duration while driving with musculoskeletal disorder at bus driver at Terminal Tirtonadi. The research design used quantitative method with cros sectional approach. Total sample 80 with accidental sampling sampling technique. The research instrument used questionnaire. Data analysis using chi square test. The results showed as many as 32% of respondents who were driving> 4 hours experienced high musculoskeletal disorders. The statistical test results showed no relationship between the duration of sitting while driving with musculoskeletal disorders (p-value = 0.477)

    ABSTRACT The longer a person uses the gadget at night, the harder it will be to fall asleep. Symptoms are difficult to fall asleep commonly called insomnia. The largest users of gadgets in Indonesia are occupied by people aged 19-34 years (49.52%). Impact of insomnia for students can indirectly reduce the concentration of learning so as to reduce student achievement in the academic. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the length of use gadgets before sleep with insomnia symptoms in the students of Public Health Study Program. The type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional study design. The study population is all students of Public Health Study Program year 2015, 2016, and 2017, FIK, UMS as many as 482 students. Samples were taken as many as 236 students using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data analysis using Chi-square test. The results showed no significant relationship between the length of use gadgets before sleep with insomnia symptomp in the students of Public Health Study Program (p value = 0.132). Some of the possible factors that led to this study did not have any relationship due to, the number of gadgets owned by the students, the long use of gadgets in a day, the habit of reading before sleep (56%), the habit of listening to music before sleep (57.8%), stay up (76.1%), long sleeping habits and irregular sleep hours (84.4%) and less exercise habits (86%).     At present diarrhea is still a major problem in developing countries, such as Indonesia. The incidence of diarrhea in Indonesia in 2017 occurred 21 times outbreaks of diarrhea and caused deaths of 34 people (CFR 1.97%), Surakarta city found diarrhea cases as many as 7,570, Sangkrah Health Center recorded as many as 1,000 cases, and Semanggi Village as many as 598 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between latrine ownership, toilet quality, and personal hygiene with the incidence of diarrhea in Kelurahan Semanggi in 2019. The type of this research is observational analytic with crosssectional approach. The subject of this study was a housewife and in getting a sample of 200 people taken with a proportionate random sampling. Test statistics using Chi Square with the help of computer software. The results showed that there was a correlation between latrine ownership (p = 0.013), there was a correlation between toilet quality (p = 0,000) and there was a correlation between personal hygiene (p = 0,000) and the incidence of diarrhea

    Occupational disease is a disease suffered by workers in relation to work, both risk factors due to workplace conditions, work equipment, materials used. One of the most common health problems in the world is low back pain. Work at risk of experiencing LBP one of them is the bus driver. Bus drivers are known to be at high risk for LBP due to overexertion and vibration of the vehicle engine. The results of surveys that have been conducted on low back pain (LBP) are known 10 (50%) of respondents complained about low back pain. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between bus vibration with the complaints of low back pain bus driver at Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta. This research method used cross-sectional. The population in this study was 1239 bus drivers, a sample of 102 people, with sampling technique using Accidental sampling. Data analysis using Kruskall Walls test. The result of the research shows that there is correlation between bus vibration with low back pain bus complaint in Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta (p-value = 0,012)

    Formalin is a food additive that is prohibited because it is harmful to health. The examination that has been carried out by the Central Java BPOM at the Surakarta Traditional Market shows that there are several types of foods that contain formaldehyde, one of which is processed fish. The presence of formalin in salted fish shows the lack of knowledge that traders have in choosing products from distributors, because knowledge is the main capital in determining the behavior of traders in choosing salted fish that is not formalin in food ingredients. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of traders and the presence of formalin in anchovy salted fish in the Surakarta Traditional Market. This type of research is observational with a cross sectional approach. Research locations in Surakarta Traditional Markets are Sidodadi Market, Nongko Market, Legi Market, Nusukan Market and Harjodaksino Market. The population of this research is 33 traders of anchovy salted fish and anchovy salted fish sold in Surakarta Traditional Market which were taken by purposive sampling technique. Formalin analysis uses a test kit, while the analysis of traders' knowledge of formalin uses a questionnaire. Next, a chi-square test is carried out to determine the relationship between traders' knowledge of formalin and the presence of formalin. The results showed that 12 of the 33 samples of salted fish contained formalin, including Sidodadi Market 3, Legi Market 3, Nongko Market 2, Nusukan Market 2, and Harjodaksino Market 2. Analysis of knowledge about formaldehyde showed that 18 sellers had good knowledge and 15 people had good knowledge. poor knowledge. The results of the chi square analysis showed that there was no relationship between the knowledge of traders and the presence of formalin in anchovy salted fish with a significance value of 0.261 > 0.05. There is a possibility that traders do not know whether the salted fish sold is formalin because traders only take merchandise and resell it, it is necessary to routinely monitor the circulation of salted anchovy fish with formalin in the Surakarta Traditional Market from related agencies such as the Trade Service, Health Service and BPOM

    The increasing number of population and changing consumption style of society, lead to increased volume, type and characteristics of waste. Waste that is not managed properly can have a negative impact for the community and the surrounding environment, so a wate management system is needed at the household scale to facilitate the processing of waste for the next steps. The preliminary study results show that on average 11 out of 15 respondents still did not know waste management properly. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation between knowledge and education with the behavior of housewives in managing household waste. The type of this research is observational analytic with cross sectional design. The population of this research is all housewives in Dusun Sigempol, amounting to 1607 people. The sampling technique using Proportional Random Sampling. The amount of sample size in this research were 71 respondens. The instrument used was a questionnaire to collect data, level of knowledge, education and housewives behavior. Analysis of variable data using the fisher exact test. The results showed that 45 of 55 people (90%) of respondents with a good level of knowledge, had good behavior in managing household waste so that there was a relationship between knowledge and the behavior of housewives (p = 0,000 *). While IRT with primary, secondary and higher education levels, most of them have good behavior in managing household waste, so there is no relationship between education and the behavior of housewives (p = 0.115). So it is very important to increase knowledge to change one's behavior in managing waste, not only through formal education, but can also be obtained through other sources of information

J410140123 ANALYSIS OF RESTAURANT HYGIENE SANITATION AROUND THE CAMPUS OF MUHAMMADIYAH SURAKARTA UNIVERSITY Restaurant is a place of business that provides space and activities to provide food and drinks to the public in their place of business. This if not supported by healthy food processing and good sanitation conditions will cause health problems. In the neighborhood around the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta campus there are many restaurants that sell food and vegetables consumed by most students. Based on a preliminary survey conducted at 5 restaurants around the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta campus using a restaurant sanitation hygiene questionnaire. Based on a preliminary survey conducted on 5 restaurants, 4 (80%) employees did not wear work clothes or uniforms. There are 3 (60%) restaurants where food handlers in the restaurant do not wash their hands before and after doing other activities. As many as 4 (80%) restaurants that are clean and poorly organized and lack clean. The purpose of this study was to analyze hygiene sanitation of restaurants around the campus of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This type of research is descriptive with a sample of 10 restaurants around the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta campus. The results showed that there were 4 restaurants that did not meet the requirements of sanitation and 6 restaurants that were clean food handlers did not meet the requirements. Based on the cleanliness of the restaurant, there are still restaurants that are not in accordance with the Minister of Health Decree No. 1098 / Menkes / SK / VII / 2003 regarding the cleanliness of restaurants.     Patient examination activities and medical waste production increased during Covid-19. Careless waste management can have health impacts. The purpose of this study was to quantity of medical waste before pandemic, during the Covid-19 pandemic and transition at the PKU Muhammadiyah Wonosari Hospital. This type of quantitative descriptive research using secondary data. The population in this study was all medical waste that entered before the pandemic, during the pandemic and during the transition from the pandemic to the Covid-19 endemic. The sample in this study is the same as the study population 13.815 kg of waste from the last six months before the Covid-19, during Covid-19 and during the Covid-19 transition. There is an impact caused by the quantity of medical waste during the Covid-19 pandemic and transition in the form of an increase in the amount of waste during the pandemic 5.097 kg. Medical waste during the pandemic experienced the highest increase in the period January 2022 - February 2022 of 1.069 kg. During the Covid-19 transition period, the highest yield of medical waste was in October 2022 - November 2022 of 1.086 kg. Meanwhile, before the pandemic medical waste was lowest at 3,676
