Negative magneto-resistance of electron gas in a quantum well with parabolic potential

We have studied the electrical conductivity of the electron gas in parallel electric and magnetic fields directed along the plane of a parabolic quantum well (across the profile of the potential). We found a general expression for the electrical conductivity applicable for any magnitudes of the magnetic field and the degree of degeneration of the electron gas. A new mechanism of generation of the negative magnetoresistance has been revealed. It has been shown that in a parabolic quantum well with a non-degenerated electron gas the negative magnetoresistance results from spin splitting of the levels of the size quantization.Comment: 15 pages, 3 figure

Визначено, що необхідною умовою статистичного вивчення трудових ресурсів є розуміння сутності досліджуваного процесу, знання законів розвитку й особливостей конкретної обстановки. Доведено, що особливості розміщення продуктивних сил викликають нерівномірність розміщення населення. Здійснено аналіз кількості та щільності населення регіонів України в період до 2015 р. Зазначено, що проблема відтоку сільського населення є найбільш болючою для соціально-економічного розвитку країни. Україна є досить неоднорідною країною як з точки зору географічних умов, так і в плані соціально-економічного розвитку. Інвестиційна привабливість регіону залежить не тільки від наявності та чисельності населення, але і від особливостей його розміщення і якості робочої сили. Крім цього, важливими є також стан ринку праці, зокрема наявність надлишку або дефіциту робочої сили.The article presents a thorough study of interregional asymmetries in the formation of labor resources of Ukraine. It is determined that a necessary condition for a statistical examination of the labor resources is the understanding of the essence of the studied process, knowledge of laws of development and characteristics of the specific situation. It is proved that some peculiarities of the productive forces cause the unevenness of the population distribution. There analyzed the number and density of population of regions in Ukraine for the period of up to 2015. It is noticed that the problem of outflow of the rural population is the most painful for the socio-economic development of the country. Ukraine is a very diverse country both from the point of view of its geographical conditions and in terms of the socio-economic development. Labor force is a special factor of production because economic activity is impossible without it. The investment attractiveness of the region depends not only on the presence and size of the population, but also on the characteristics of its distribution and the quality of the labour force. In addition, the state of the labour market, in particular the presence of excess or shortage of labour force, are also important.Проведено глубокое исследование межрегиональных асимметрий формирования трудовых ресурсов Украины. Определено, что необходимым условием статистического изучения трудовых ресурсов является понимание сущности изучаемого процесса, знание законов развития и особенностей конкретной обстановки. Доказано, что особенности размещения производительных сил вызывают неравномерность размещения населения. Осуществлен анализ количества и плотности населения регионов Украины в период до 2015 г. Отмечено, что проблема оттока сельского населения является наиболее болезненной для социально-экономического развития страны. Украина является достаточно неоднородной страной как с точки зрения географических условий, так и в плане социально-экономического развития. Рабочая сила является особым фактором производства, потому что без нее экономическая деятельность невозможна. Также инвестиционная привлекательность региона зависит не только от наличия и численности населения, но и от особенностей его размещения и качества рабочей силы.
