현대의 패션 일러스트레이션은 과거의 기록적 기능과 정보전달의 수단을 넘어 다양한 재료와 기법으로 그 영역을 넓혀가고 있다. 첨단기술의 정보화와 빠르게 변화하는 흐름 속에 다원화된 문화와 예술이 공존하는 가운데 컴퓨터를 이용한 통신망과 디지털 미디어는 소셜 네트워크를 형성하고 대중에서 개인적 성향과 소수의 의견을 중시하는 사회로 전향되었다. 이러한 개개인적 성향에서도 다양하고 풍부한 방향성을 필요로 한다. 패션 일러스트레이션도 이러한 사회적 동향에 맞추어 미디어와 매체를 적극 활용하고 또한 개인의 개성 표현에 있어서 다양화되고 있다. 컴퓨터의 프로그램을 활용한 그래픽과 3D등은 시각적 효과를 극대화한다. 그러나 이러한 표현방법은 수작업보다 간단하고 현대적 성향이 강하기 때문에 지나치게 의존하기도 한다. 그러므로 패션 일러스트레이터들은 컴퓨터의 프로그램을 활용과 더불어 새로운 소재와 기법을 시도하여 독창성과 차별성으로 자신만의 스타일과 대중에게 전달하려는 이미지를 확립은 물론 다양한 시도를 통해 지속적인 발전이 매우 중요하다. 특히 다양한 표현에서도 수작업을 이용한 독특한 기법 패션 일러스트레이션에 있어서 예술적 가치를 높인다. 현대에 맞는 패션 일러스트레이션의 기능과 목적, 전달하려는 주제와 메시지를 시각적으로 명확하게 표현하고 패션 일러스트레이터의 개성과 독창적 표현의 확대를 충족시키기 위한 새로운 부조적 표현은 다원화 된 현대가 요구하는 전문화와 기법의 세분화, 창작과 독창성을 충족시켜준다. 이에 본 연구는 열고정 프레스기법이란 폭을 넓힐 수 있는 표현기법으로 패션 일러스트레이션을 수작업을 통한 독창적 표현이 가능한 열고정 프레스기법을 응용하여 패션 일러스트레이션의 표현방법을 넓히는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 내용 및 방법은 이론적 고찰에서 열고정 프레스기법에 앞서 프레스의 개념을 살펴보고 열고정법에 관한 참고문헌을 토대로 표현기법과 작품사례를 탐구했다. 또한 부조적 패션 일러스트레이션의 고찰로 부조의 개념을 알아보고 부조적 패션 일러스트레이션의 표현기법과 작품사례를 분석하였다. 열고정법은 재료를 열을 이용하여 압축이나 굴곡 등의 물리적인 힘으로 고정하는 방법이다. 열고정 프레스기법을 응용한 부조적 패션 일러스트레이션의 연구의 이론적 고찰과 작품제작을 통한 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스펀지의 물성 중 유연성과 가변성은 열고정 프레스기법에 의한 부조적 표현에 적합하였다. 둘째, 다리미에 의한 열고정 프레스기법은 단순하면서도 견고한 부조적 표출로 인해 현대적인 감각을 표현할 수 있었다. 셋째, 다리미에 의한 열고정 프레스기법은 다리미의 방향과 각도의 압축에 따라서 독특한 무늬와 입체효과, 질감효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 넷째, 본 작품의 부조적 표현에 있어 빛에 의한 음영효과를 통해 부조적인 이미지를 극대화 할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 획기적인 시도와 기법은 예술과 산업을 구분 짓는 고정관념을 벗어나 소재와 기법의 폭을 넓히고 작품을 통해 예술적 차원의 시각적 언어로 하나의 커뮤니케이션을 완성한다. 본 연구 결과는 패션 일러스트레이션을 열고정 프레스기법과 스펀지란 산업용 소재로 작업함으로써 기능성을 미적표현과 동시에 그 외에도 열을 이용하여 압축과 고정 등에서 기법의 세분화를 기대할 수 있다. 또한 열고정 프레스기법을 응용한 부조적 패션 일러스트레이션으로써 의도하는 이미지의 형상은 오늘날의 다변화하는 사회에서의 현대인의 정서를 자극하려는 우연성, 반복성, 유일성 등의 발현을 유도하므로 현대예술의 감각적 차용이 기대된다. 그러므로 예술영역에서 새로운 소재와 기법으로 이미지화를 위한 끊임없는 연구과 시도가 필요하다.;Modern Fashion Illustration a record in the past beyond the means of information delivery capabilities and a variety of materials and techniques are gaining the zone. 학위논문(박사) - 한국과학기술원 : 전기 및 전자공학과, 1986.2, [ iii, 127 p. ]The ultrasound B-scan system is the most successful imaging system in the field of diagnostic ultrasound and nondestructive testing. The B-scan system offers real time tomographic imaging at relatively low cost and does not produce any harmful effects to the patient. The B-scan is, in principal, a map of the backscattering efficiency from every point in the imaging volume. But a conventional B-scan system can provide only a crude approximation to a backscattered image due to (a) diffraction effect (b) non-linear propagation effect (c) B-scan system artifact. The major limiting factor on the use of the B-scan system is the poor resolution, especially along the lateral direction caused by a finite transducer aperture size. To improve the resolution, a number of studys have been reported to date including linear inverse filtering, non-linear filtering, transducer design, and focusing methods. Perhaps, dynamic focusing may be the most practical approach in real time imaging. The non-linear propagation effects can alter the backscattering efficiency estimation in a B-scan system. To get a quantitative B-scan image, all the phenomena that can alter the efficiency estimation should be taken into account. The propagation effects encountered in a diagnostic ultrasound are: inhomogeneous attention, beam softening by frequency dependent attention, and different velocity distribution in tissue. The B-scan system also changes the image estimation. In a digital sector scanner, a number of artifacts occurs during the coordinate transformation, known as scan conversion. The reduction of the artifact is very difficult because of the real time requirement. In this thesis, we propose several new methods to improve the B-scan performance. In part I, a new focusing method, to be called the sampled delay focusing (SDF), is proposed to improve the B-scan resolution. 학위논문(석사) - 한국과학기술원 : 전기 및 전자공학과, 1978.8, [ [i], 136, B-54 p. ]본 시스템은 micro-processor 를 이용하여 telephone trunk 의 특성을 빠른 속도로 측정 기록함을 그 목적으로 한다. 전체 시스템은 중앙국과 지방국으로 구성되며, 일단 start 되면 모든 측정은 중앙국에 의하여 자동적으로 이루어진다. 이렇게 하여 선로의 감쇄특성과 누화특성의 자동측정이 이루어 진다. Chap 2 는 instrumentation system 에 대해서 Chap 3 는 앞선 연구결과에 대해 간략히 설명하고 있다. Chap4,5,6 에서 시스템의 hardware 와 software 를 서술하였다. 본 시스템은 실제 응용상 많은 문제를 내재하고 있으나 일단, 그 가능성을 보였다는데 의의를 둔다.한국과학기술원 : 전기 및 전자공학과
