Dimensional changes of the dental arches studies from 10years of age to young adult in normal occlusion

치의학과/석사[한글] 이 연구는 정상 교합을 가진 336명의 경석고모형을 채득하여 혼합치열그룹, 영구치열그룹, young adult의 3 Groap으로 구분하여 2차성장기와 그 이후의 치궁 및 구개의 변화를 연구 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다 1. 견치간 폭경은 상악에서 남녀 모두 영구치열그룹에서 증가하였으며 young adult에서는 거의 변화가 없었다. 하악에서는 남자의 영구치열그룹에서만 증가하였다. 2 제 1대구치간 폭경은 남자 상·하악 young adult에서 미미한 증가가 있었으며, 여자는 상·하악에서는 거의 변화가 없었다. 3. 10∼12세 사이에 가장 큰 변화를 보인것은 견치간 폭경이었으며, 영구치열그룹과 yourg adult 의 치궁폭경에서는 남자가 여자보다 컸다. 4. 치궁장경은 남녀의 차이가 없었으나, 하악 영구치열그룹에서 감소하였고_ young adult에서는 거의 변화가 없었다. 5. 구개고경은 연령의 증가에 따라 점차로 증가하였다. [영문] The author studied on the dental arch widths and lengths and height of palates at 3 groups of dentition : mixed dentition, early permanent dentition, young adult, having normal occlusion and dentition. The models of the 336 maxillary and mandibular casts, made from alginate-base hydrofolloid impressions were measured and analyzed statistically. The result as follows; 1. The upper intercanine width increased between the mixed dentition group and early permanent dentition group but there .was no change in the young adult group in both sexes. The lower intercanine width increased between the mixed dentition group and early Permanent dention group in the male. 2. The upper and lower 1st bimolar width increased slightly with age in the male but there was no change in the female. 3. The sex difference found in this study was one of absolute size, the female being slightly smaller than the male in the early permanent dentition group and young adult. 4. The arch length had no notable sexual differences and decreased between the mixed dentition group and early permanent dentition group. There was no change in the arch length in the young adult. 5.
