Design and Development of Scenario-Based Simulation System to Improve Shipbuilding Execution Scheduling Assessment - A Case Study on Panel Line -

Todays ever-increasingly competitive shipbuilding market makes it essential for a shipbuilding company to have more efficient production processes and higher productivity as well as better design ability to obtain its competitiveness. A well-established production execution schedule plays an indispensable role to achieve this goal. Most shipbuilding companies carry out an evaluation on their mid-term plan once it is established. However, no evaluation activity exists for a production execution schedule, because practically all the companies depend on the field workers for the production execution scheduling. In this study, a prototype of a ship production execution schedule evaluation system is developed based on the component based design (CBD) methodology. This system enables one to make a production execution schedule that reflects upto-date shipyard situation and to validate whether the schedule is feasible or not by running a production simulation according to the schedule. Users can also make use of the system as a decision supporting tool that compares several different execution schedules and evaluates which one is the best execution schedule. Smart Work ๊ธฐ๋ฐ˜ ์กฐ์„ ์ƒ์‚ฐ์‹คํ–‰์‹œ์Šคํ…œ ๊ฐœ๋ฐœ๊ณผ์ œ (10039739), ์‚ฐ์—… EMAIL:[email protected]_YN:NCONFIRM:

Development of data analysis tool for combat system integration

System integration is an important element for the construction of naval combat ships. In particular because impeccable combat system integration together with the sensors and weapons can ensure the combat capability and survivability of the ship, the integrated performance of the combat system should be verified and validated whether or not it fulfills the requirements of the end user In order to conduct systematic verification and validation, a data analysis tool is requisite. This paper suggests the Data Extraction, Recording and Analysis Tool (DERAT) for the data analysis of the integrated performance of the combat system, including the functional definition, architecture and effectiveness of the DERAT by presenting the test results.OAIID:oai:osos.snu.ac.kr:snu2013-01/102/0000001908/1SEQ:1PERF_CD:SNU2013-01EVAL_ITEM_CD:102USER_ID:0000001908ADJUST_YN:YEMP_ID:A002495DEPT_CD:414CITE_RATE:.356FILENAME:์ฒจ๋ถ€๋œ ๋‚ด์—ญ์ด ์—†์Šต๋‹ˆ๋‹ค.DEPT_NM:์กฐ์„ ํ•ด์–‘๊ณตํ•™๊ณผEMAIL:[email protected]_YN:YCONFIRM:

Curved Hull Plate Forming based on SOAP Internet Services

    No full text
Fabrication of the hull plate demands a lot of man-hour and a high degree of technology. In recent years, commercial shipping orders have been fallen because of intensifying competition with low price of order and labor cost. In order to solve this problem, a countermeasure such as a cost reduction is required. In this study, we are dealing with the method of supplying the forming information of the hull to the production site. We reviewed studies of hull forming that have been proposed so far to develop a method for providing hull forming information. On the basis of given production plans from the production site of shipyard, we discuss how to convert shell plate to production plan. Then, we will discuss the efficiency of the distribution method through the network about the method of hull forming. Thus, we have modified the distribution method which was proposed before. Finally, we will introduce the enhanced method for providing fabrication information of the hull plate to the small and medium-sized shipyards.N

A Shipyard Simulation System using the Process-centric Simulation Modeling Methodology: Case Study of the Simulation Model for the Shipyard Master Plan Validation

    No full text
Shipbuilding process takes a long time for producing final products, and needs many different resources. Because of these characteristics, it has been studied about shipyard simulation and virtual manufacturing that is able to implement the virtual manufacturing process. However, among the previous researches, it requires considerable time and effort to construct simulation model since the systematic methodology has not been used for simulation modeling. Also, reusability of constructed simulation model was low. Therefore, this research defines the method to construct shipyard simulation system using the process-centric simulation modeling methodology and shipyard simulation framework. This paper also validates the utility of this methodology through applying to construct simulation model for the shipyard master plan validation.N
