국제보건학과/석사[한글] 사회, 경제적 요소와 모성사망률, 영아사망률과의 관계를 밝히려는 그 간의 연구 결과, 인구집단의 높은 모성사망률과 영아사망률은 모자 보건 인구의 빈곤, 교육의 부족 및 부적절한 건강서비스와 관련되어 왔음을 알 수 있다. 하지만 서로간의 강한 상관관계 때문에 어느 하나를 위험 요인으로 결정하기 어렵다. 인간개발지수(HDI)는 평균수명 교육수준, 생활수준의 복합지수로서 한 국가의 사회 경제적 발달을 측정할 수 있으며 모성사망률과 영아사망률의 선행요인으로 밝혀진 바 있다. 여성관련개발지수(GDI)는 인간개발지수와 동일한 변수를 사용하지만 여성과 남성의 동등 한 인간개발에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 기존 연구를 통해 모성사망률과 영아사망률에 영향을 미치는 결정요인을 정리하고, 복합지수인 인간개발지수와 여성관련개발지수가 이들보다 모성사망률과 영아사망률을 설명하는 요인으로 유용하며, 이 중 여성관련개발지수가 인간개발지수보다 모성사망률과 영아사망률을 설명하는 보다 설득력 있는 요인임을 검증하고자 한다. 이러한 결과는 인간개발지수를 각 국가의 성별 불균형비로 재조정한 여성관련개발지수가 모성사망률과 영아사망률을 설명하는데 있어서, 인간개발지수보다 설득력 있는 요인임을 밝혀, 인간 개발이 남녀 모두에게 공평한 사회일수록 모성사망률과 영아사망률이 낮음을 보여줄 수 있다. 연구 대상은 국제연합에 가입된 146개국이며, 모성사망률과 영어 사망률을 종속 변수로 하는 세 가지 모형으로 다중 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 첫 번째 모델(Model ALL)은 모성사망률과 영아사망률의 결정요인인 성인 문자 해득률, 일인당 조정 실질 GDP, 산전 간호률, 의료기관에서 수행된 분만률, 상수시설 보급률, 위생시설 보급률로 구성된다. 이 중 성인 문자 해득률, 일인당 조정 실질 GDP는 인간개발지수의 구성에 포함되므로 두 번째 모델(Model HDI)은 산전 간호률, 의료기관에서 수행된 분만률, 상수시설 보급률, 위생시설 보급률, 인간개발지수(HDI)로, 세 번째 모델(Model GDI)은 산전 간호률, 의료기관에서 수행된 분만률, 상수시설 보급률, 위생시설 보급률, 여성관련개발지수(GDI)로 구성된다. 연구에서 도출된 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째. 문헌고찰을 통해 모성사망률과 영아사망률의 영향을 비치는 결정요인은 성인 문자 해독률, 일인당 조정 실질 GDP, 산전 간호률, 의료기관에서의 분만률, 상수도와 위생시설 보급률, 인간개발지수, 여성관련개발지수로 정리 할 수 있다. 둘째, 성인 문자 해득률이 높을수록, 일인당 조정 실질 GDP가 높을수록, 산전 간호율이 높을수록, 의료기관에서 수행되는 분만률이 높을수록, 안전한 상수와 위생시설에의 보급률이 증가할수록, 인간개발지수와 여성관련개발지수가 높을수록 모성사망률과 영아사망률은 감소함을 알 수 있다. 세째, 모성사망률과 영아사망률 설명하는 세 개의 분석 모델(Model ALL , Model HDI, Model GDI)의 다중회귀 분석 결과, 모성사망률에서 Model ALL(81.0%), Model HDI(82.4%), Model GDI(83.4%)의 순으로 설명력의 증가를 보이고, 영아사망률에서 Model ALL(81.8%), Model HDI(84.2%), Model GDI(86.5%)의 순으로 설명력의 증가를 보인다. 모성사망률과 영아사망률을 설명하는데 있어 복합지수로 이루어진 Model HDI와 Model GDI가 Model ALL보다 높은 설명력을 보여주며, Model GDI의 높은 설명력은 여성관련개발지수(GDI)가 가장 유의한 결정요인임을 보여 준다. 이 연구에서 남녀 사이의 불평등을 알기 위해 인간개발지수를 재조정한 여성관련개발지수가 인간개발지수보다 더 높은 설명력을 보여주고 있음을 알 수 있으며, 이는 인간 개발이 남녀 모두에게 평등한 사회일수록 모자 보건의 수준이 높음을 보여 준다. [영문] The studies on the relation of social, economic factor related to maternal and infant mortality have found that there were relationship among poverty, lack of education, inappropriate health services. But their high correlation has led to confusion as to the significant determinant of maternal and infant mortality. The Human Development Index(HDI) is a composite index of life expectancy, literacy, and real GDP per captia that measures the socioeconomic development of a country. The Gender Related Development Index(GDI) focuses on equality between men and women as well as on the average achievement of all people taken together, using same variables as the HDI. The purpose of this research is to determine related factors of maternal and infant mortality from other research. whether composite index (HDI and GDI) is a useful determinant of maternal and infant mortality. and, whether the GDI is more useful determinant than the HDI. Multiple logistic regression were used and 146 UN member countries were analyzed. The results of study are summarized below. 1. Determinants of maternal and infant mortality were adult literacy rate, adjusted real GDP per captia, antenatal care rate, deliveries in health facility rate, accessibility to safe water and adequate sanitation, HDI, and GDI. 2. All determinants of maternal and infant mortality had a significant negative correlation with maternal and infant mortality. when the adult literacy rate, adjusted real GDP per captia, antenatal care rate, deliveries in health facility rate, accessability of safe water and adequate sanitation, HDI, GDI were higher, maternal and infant mortality rates were lower. 3. The results of three logistic models(Model ALL, Model HDI, Model GDI) are summarized below. In maternal mortality, Model GDI (83.4%) was increased the most and Model HDI (82.4%), Model ALL (81.0%) in order. In infant mortality, Model GDI (86.5%) was increased the most and Model HDI (84.2%), Model ALL (81.8%) in order. This study showed that HDI and GDI are powerful determinants of both maternal and infant mortality. The GDI was more powerful determinant than HDI. In conclusion, the maternal and infant mortality showed lower rates in societies where achievement was equal between men and women. the higher power of the GDI.ope

The Differences between Eye Movements of Low and Average Achievers in Visual Search for Map Reading

본 연구의 목적은 사회과 학습부진 학생과 일반 학생들의 지도를 활용한 위치 파악 능력과 위치 파악 시 안구운동에서의 차이를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 초등학교 4학년에 재학 중인 사회과 학습부진 학생 9명과 일반 학생 9명이었다. 두 집단 간 지도를 활용한 위치 파악 능력을 비교하기 위해 방위를 이용한 위치 파악하기 검사를 실시하였다. 검사는 다양한 유형의 지도와 지도별로 위치를 파악하는 문항으로 구성하였다. 위치 파악 시 집단 간 안구운동에서의 차이를 비교하기 위해 안구운동 추적 기기를 이용하여 검사를 실시하였고, 학생들은 문항에 대해 구두로 답하였다. 분석 결과, 방위를 이용한 위치 파악 능력에서는 두 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 일반 학생들은 대부분의 문항에서 높은 정답률을 보였고, 학습부진 학생들은 기준을 바꿔서 제시한 문항에서 오답을 많이 한 것으로 나타났다. 다음, 방위를 이용한 위치 파악 시 안구운동에서도 집단 간 차이를 보인 것으로 나타났다. 주로 학생들에게 익숙한 지역이나 장소에서 총 고정시간과 고정빈도에서 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 일반 학생들이 학습부진 학생들에 비해 고정시간이 짧고 고정빈도도 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 목표 장소를 찾기까지 걸린 시간을 비교한 결과, 두 집단 모두 정답을 한 문항들에 대해서는 일반 학생들이 학습부진 학생들에 비해 속도가 더 빠른 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 이러한 연구 결과를 중심으로 한 논의와 함께 후속 연구에 대한 방향을 제안하였다.The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in visual search for map reading between low achievers in social studies and average achievers. Participants were comprised of 18 fourth-year elementary school students, nine low achievers and nine average achievers. In order to compare the visual search capabilities for map reading between the two groups, tasks were designed to identify a target location based on instructions and the four cardinal points. During the tasks, the gaze information of the students was recorded using an eye-tracking device, and the students answers were collected verbally. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in visual search skills based on the for cardinal points. The average achievers scored on most of the questions, but low achievers scored low especially for questions involving reference locations. Next, eye-movement patterns were different between the two groups. This difference was most eminent in total fixation time and fixation frequency for familiar locations. The low achievers showed longer total fixation time and higher fixation frequency than the average achievers did. In addition, the time to first fixation showed that the low achievers identified the target location slower than the average achievers did. Analysis of Maternal Child Health Services in Korea - Perspective of the Premature Infant -

In recent years, reductions in infant mortality have mainly been accomplished by improving the survival of premature and low birth weight infants, however premature infants still remain at great risk. the purpose of this study was to review the maternal child health service related to premature infants and to provide a future direction for improving maternal child health (MCH) in Korea. We reviewed two MCH services which are directly related to premature infants: 1) a registry and financial support program for families with a premature infant, and 2) financial support to build neonatal intensive care units in rural public hospitals. Suggestions are made for the development of a national vital signs record system to identify high risk infants and to monitor the trends in infant mortality due to prematurity. Prevention efforts and preconception care for childbearing women is also an important strategy to reduce the rate of preterm births. Finally, we need consider long-term follow-up plans for premature infants for a successful transit to the special education system. Developing MCH policy related to premature infants that decreases the occurrence of premature may decrease infant mortality, and also improve maternal and child health services.ope
