이 논문은 금산농악에 대한 구성 요소를 분석하고 문화사적 위상과 의의를 조명한 글이다. 금산농악의 중요성을 제고하고 이를 통하여 좌도농악 내에서의 위치를 규정하고자 한 것이 이 글의 핵심 요소라고 할 수 있다. 금산농악에 대한 일련의 연구가 좌도농악으로서 매우 중요한 위치를 점유하고 있음에도 불구하고 온전하게 연구되지 않아서 우리나라 전체 농악연구에 일정한 결함을 지니고 있다고 판단된다. 이 점을 시정하기 위해서 금산농악의 근간을 밝히고 동시에 금산농악의 성격을 규명하면서 문화사적 위상과 의의를 밝히고자 한 것이 이 글의 결론이다. 제주도 안덕면 당신본풀이의 구비전승적 위상

제주도 당신본풀이가 풍부하게 전승된다고 하는 사실은 주지하는 바이다. 그런데 이러한 판단은 현재의 관점에서 재검토되어야 마땅하다. 왜냐하면 당신본풀이가 현재에도 전승이 활발하게 이루어진다고 보기 어렵기 때문이다. 환언하면 적어도 위의 진술은 당맨심방이 충분히 기능을 하고 당신본풀이가 제의적 기능을 다하고 있을 때에 타당성을 갖는 것으로 판단되기 때문이다. 당신본풀이가 여전히 활발하게 전승되고 있는지의 여부에 대한 추가적인 조사가 이루어져야 비로소 사실 여부가 판명될 수 있겠다. 기존 연구에서 서사적 내용을 가진 본풀이에만 연구가 집중됨으로써 다른 유형의 본풀이는 대단히 소홀하게 취급 되었다고 해도 지나친 말은 아니다. 본풀이에는 협의의 개념과 광의의 개념이 있다고 생각한다. 본풀이의 협의의 개념은 서사시의 형태로 된 것만을 지칭하는 반면 본풀이의 광의의 개념은 신명의 열거, 제일의 제시, 주술적 유형 등에서부터 완전한 서사시 유형을 갖추고 있지 못한 것을 모두 포괄한다. 종래 연구사에서 이러한 측면에 착안한 연구가 있었다. 그것은 두 가지로 나타났으나 논의의 핵심은 비슷하다. 곧 당신본풀이의 유형을 정리하여 기원형, 기본형, 성장형, 완성형 등으로 진화론적 전제를 세우고 있다는 사실이다. 이 전제가 흥미로운 것이기는 하나 무엇을 기본형으로 삼을 것인가에는 의문의 여지가 없지 않다. 연구에서 통시적 가설에 의존하기보다는 공시적 비교에 근거하여 연구하고, 본격적 연구 결과가 산출된 뒤에 반드시 다시 통시적 접근을 하는 것이 타당하리라 생각한다. 이 연구는 우선 제주도 안덕면의 당신본풀이를 대상으로 당신본풀이 연구를 시론적으로 하고자 한다. 이러한 연구가 과연 의의가 있는지, 없는지 검토하고, 종국에는 다른 지역으로 확장하여 예증을 늘리기로 한다. 여기서는 안덕면의 당신본풀이에 많은 문제점이 있다고 생각되어 접근하기로 한다

A Study on the Female-Mythological Character of the <BariKonju>

Fortunately shows that the true character of the Female myth. For the character of God and Bonpuri(본풀이) is changing, we can confirm to succeed the tradition of the ancient. compared to Jinogui-Kut(진오귀굿), its kernel meaning can solve. Barikonju was abandoned by her Parents. Although experienced suffering, she accomplish her task, and then worshiped as a new Goddess. She is related to Seongmosin. Also It's not different from the story of Hero from heroic poetry. take its rise from ancient stories. From the view of the Female Myth, we make out the meaning of the Barikonju' story and it's origin
