Such a relocation of public institutions to provinces is positively evaluated to some extent in revitalizing the local economy that has stagnated and resolving the gap between the capital area and provinces, and most papers support this. And yet, the expected effects of the policy mainly focus on the revitalization of the surrounding areas by relocation to provinces, while the impacts on the institutions that carried out the relocation are overlooked. This study investigated the types of institutions that showed relatively positive productivity or negative productivity through an analysis of empirical data of seven years after relocation to provinces. The subjects were the public institutions that completed relocation between 2013 and 2015, and this study checked if there would be any difference in productivity according to the relevant public institutionโ€™s size, market orientation, and term of existence after relocation to provinces. Since one of the major variables of concern, the level of an institutionโ€™s market affinity is relevant to a time-invariant variable that has the same value regardless of the stream of time, conducting panel analysis based on OLS regression analysis and random effects model together, instead of using panel regression analysis and fixed effects model, this study verified the effect of the pure independent variable of each model and the effect of the reciprocal action between variables. To examine the results, first, the total number of personnel represented by the size of a public institution after the relocation of the institution to provinces had a significant impact on its productivity. It is interpreted that there is a difference in the concept of efficiency, different from the concept that simply the more the number of personnel, the greater the profit becomes, in other words, productivity and that it is in the same context with findings in Park & Chang (2015), and Chung (2010), which investigated the size and performance of institutions. Second, it was found that the institutions with a higher level of market affinity, that is, those with higher marketability had lower productivity after the relocation to provinces. This is interpreted that since the negative (-) effect of the relocation from the capital area to provinces as the institutions with high marketability lose the utilization of human and physical infrastructure, networks, and a variety of information they have enjoyed so far is higher than the positive (+) effect they have by making efforts for innovation in many directions not to die out in environmental changes. Lastly, it was not possible to find any significant impact of the term of an institutionโ€™s existence on productivity. According to Jovanovicโ€™s Theory of Business Growth and Evansโ€™s research, it turned out that the higher the term of an institutionโ€™s existence, the lower the growth and efficiency became, but this was a result of a study conducted with manufacturing enterprises, and it is judged that applying this to public institutions is not valid. Implications according to the findings of this study are, first, the institutions with larger size represented by the number of personnel are more likely to adapt themselves easily to the environmental change, the relocation to provinces. This, even if intuitively thought, is in the same context with an idea that the institutions with a lot of personnel can immediately respond to changes through various innovative activities. Thus, it can be assumed that, even in a large environmental change, the relocation of the location of the head office, public institutions with relatively more executives and staff members are more likely to adapt themselves more easily. Second, institutions with higher market inclination, that is, those with higher commercial viability are more likely to face a decline in productivity after the relocation to provinces. In other words, for the institutions that compete with other enterprises in the market and are controlled by the capital market like private enterprises, the location would serve as an important element for productivity. As the institutions with higher commercial viability should maintain productivity through the external environmental effects of the surrounding areas of the location and utilizing networks, and infrastructure, and the environmental change, the relocation to provinces, might affect this. For the additional relocation of public institutions to promote in the future, the economic revitalization of the surrounding areas due to the relocation of public institutions to provinces is also important, but it is necessary to select targets and areas of relocation according to the unique characteristics of the institutions. In addition, it is required to prepare comprehensive measures including follow-up management as well as a relocation plan approached in advance.

According to the National Statistical Office, the youth unemployment rate in Korea recorded about 9% in 2015 and remains at the same level overall until 2020. However, during the same period, the expanded unemployment rate increased by about 3.2%(p) from 21.9% to 25.1% during the same period. Youth unemployment has a major impact on the lives of young people. In addition, since youth problems affect society as a whole, countermeasures against youth unemployment have always been one of the key tasks. Accordingly, Korea has also supported the employment of young people through continuous labor policies, and in 2009 implemented an employment management program that included young people through the Employment Success Package program. However, in the rapidly changing social environment, the need for various other employment support policies for youth has emerged. As a one of the various employment management programs, the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth was first implemented in March 2019. However, although the feature of the policy as cash support has been continuously faced with questions about the effectiveness of the policy, research on the policy is still lacking. Therefore, through this study, โ‘  the effect of the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth on the youthโ€™s job searching activities was investigated and โ‘ก whether the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth should be implemented as a separate policy as revealed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. For the analysis, the Graduated Occupational Mobility Survey (GOMS) conducted by the Korea Employment Information Service was used. This survey is a cross-sectional survey in which 18,000 college/university graduates are sampled every year and conducted once. The subjects of this study are August 2017 or February 2018 graduates. In addition, the subjects to be confirmed in this study are those who are not currently economically active but are looking for a job, and who are not currently economically active and have not been looking for a job in the past 4 weeks. a total of 3,478 people was selected as a sample. Based on the relevant subjects, the following hypotheses were established and confirmed in order to check the effect of the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth on young people's employment job searching activities and policy differentiation. First, the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth and the employment success package program will have a positive (+) effect on young people's job-seeking activities. Second, the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth and the employment success package program will have a positive (+) effect on the increase in the reservation wage of young people. Third, the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth and the employment success package program will have a positive (+) effect on young people's perception of employment goals. Logistic regression analysis, linear regression analysis, and ordinal regression analysis were used to confirm the above hypothesis, and the results are as follows. First, the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth and the employment success package program showed a positive (+) value on the youth's job-seeking activities. Second, the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth and the employment success package program were expressed as negative (-) values โ€‹โ€‹for the increase in the reservation wage of young people. Third, the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth and employment success package program showed conflicting values โ€‹โ€‹for young people's perception of employment goals. The conclusions based on the above analysis results are as follows. First, it was found that not only the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth but also the employment success package program, were positive for young people's job-seeking activities as employment support policy. However, it was found that young people who experienced the employment success package program were more likely to seek a job than those who experienced the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth, which seems to reflect the feature of the policy that directly arranges for a job. Second, the experience of the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth or the employment success package program did not increase the youth's reservation wage. This can be seen that the employment support policy is not enough to raise the youth's reservation wage, and the fact that the reservation wage is lower in the case of experiencing the employment success package program than in the case of experiencing the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth, can be understood that an individual's background, social environment, and self-goal are more influential. Third, it was found that they were relatively well aware of the employment goals when they experienced the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth, and when they experienced the employment success package program, they were relatively less aware of the employment goals. The significance of the results is as follows. First, it was confirmed that the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth increases the possibility of young people's job-seeking activities without raising reservation wage. In addition, in the case of young people who experienced the job-seeking activity subsidy policy for youth, it was found that they were more likely to have a relatively clear perception of the employment goal. In other words, it can be understood that there are cases where young people need specific support such as job placement and participation in programs, such as the Employment Success Package program, but there are also cases where they need autonomous and intensive cash support. Therefore, employment support policy for youth needs to be delivered in various ways according to the needs of the youth, the target of the policy. As mentioned in the transitional labor market theory, this is to socially manage the risks encountered in the process of labor transition, and through such management, the labor market will be able to operate more efficiently. ๊ทธ๋Ÿฌ๋‚˜ ๊ฐ™์€ It is experimentally demonstrated that applying a vertical structure with a perpendicular tunnel to the channel can achieve an operation of high electrical performance and it can be integrated in a bulk Si substrate. First of all, Si and SiGe TFETs with a planar structure are fabricated and measured to extract model parameters. From the measured results, the parameters of band-to-band tunnel (BTBT) model, which can be used to simulate TFETs accurate are calibrated. In this regard, Synopsys Sentaurus Device will be used for this purpose. Then, based on the simulation of planar TFETs, the proposed devices will be presented as the vertical TFETs with the perpendicular tunnel junction based on the bulk Si substrate. The perpendicular tunnel junction and the large tunnel area are employed on the source side to achieve a steep subthreshold swing (SS) and high ON-current (ION), which can lead to TFETs outstanding performance. Moreover, the ION can be increased easily by adjusting a height of overlap region between a source and a gate. Although, the TFETs show good electrical performance, there is a hump phenomenon in transfer curve. In order to suppress the hump phenomenon in the transfer curves, the hump behavior in the proposed device should be investigated. After investigating it, the hump behavior is found to be originated from the two different tunnel regions. Moreover their threshold voltages originated from different tunnel show different values. In order to improve the electrical performance, a capping layer which can be made by gradual doping is inserted on the source. Then, the hump behavior can be expected to decrease. Finally, the proposed TFETs will be fabricated on the bulk Si substrate. A thin intrinsic Si is epitaxially grown on the source region which forms the perpendicular tunnel junction to the channel, resulting in abrupt band bending. The fabricated the proposed TFETs show 17 mV/dec minimum subthreshold swing (SS) and 104 ON/OFF current ratio (ION/IOFF ) for sub-0.7 V gate overdrive. In addition, SS is maintained less than 60 mV/dec while a drain current increases from complete OFF-state (10โˆ’13) to more than two orders of magnitude (10โˆ’11). In conclusion, the proposed device are fabricated successfully. ๊ทธ๋Ÿฌ๋‚˜ ๊ฐ™์€ The Measurement of Dimensional Ridge Contour Changes after Tooth Extraction Using Intraoral Scanner: A Clinical Pilot Study

    No full text
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the trend of horizontal soft tissue contour changes in extraction sockets using data obtained by intraoral scanners, and to investigate the effect of ridge preservation. Materials and Methods: In nine patients, 18 teeth were extracted, including both premolars, and ridge preservation with deproteinized bovine bone mineral and an absorbable collagen membrane was performed on only one side, and a linear change in width was observed. Intraoral scanning was performed immediately before extraction and at 30- and 90 days after extraction. Superimposition and measurements of the three-dimensional scan images were performed. Results: In the experimental group, a decrease in the horizontal width of 0.845 mm buccally and 0.307 mm lingually at 4 mm below the baseline was observed 90 days after tooth extraction, and in the control group, an average decrease of 0.73 mm and 0.21 mm was observed, respectively. The vertical decrease in gingival height measured 90 days after tooth extraction was 0.8 mm in the experimental group and 0.46 mm in the control group. Conclusion: The horizontal ridge contour during the healing process of healthy mandibular premolar tooth extraction showed a tendency to decrease over time, and a greater change was observed as the height of the measurement point was closer to the reference gingival margin. The effects of ridge preservation were not evident.N
