(A) STUDY ON THE LEISURE SPORTS WEAR : DESIGN FOR LADY'S TENNIS WEAR
本 硏究는 變해가는 社會構造 속에서 레져, 스포츠 人口가 增加함에 따라 레져, 스포츠의 커다란 比重을 차지하고 있는 테니스 웨어에 대한 디자인의 硏究를 하였다.
特히 아시안 게임, '88 서울 올림픽 誘致 등에 의해서 그 어느 때보다도 스포츠에 對한 關心이 커가고 있는 이때에 테니스 웨어의 디자인에 變革을 가져오는 것도 國際 競爭을 爲한 製品의 高級化를 爲해서 바람직한 것으로 생각되어 진다.
本 硏究를 爲해서는 테니스의 由來와 테니스 웨어의 出現 및 變遷을 歷史的으로 考察하고, 現在 國內外의 有名메이커의 테니스 웨어에 對한 製品을 각 7個씩 選定하고 그 디자인의 問題點과 改善方案을 提示해 보았다. 그리고 테니스 웨어의 디자인을 爲해서 Life Style을 論하였다.
테니스 웨어는 프랑스 貴族社會를 中心으로 出現하여 1800年代 以前 室內에서 있었을 때는 宮廷 衣裳을 그대로 입었다. 1881年에는 Bustle 形, 1890~1900年에는 S Letter 실루엣으로 日常服을 單純化하여 着用하였다.
1900~1920年 데이비스 컵(Davis-Cup) 大會가 始作되어 팔이 완전히 露出되었고, 스커트의 기장도 무릎위까지 오는 투피스 形態에서 1930年에는 머리 裝飾으로 헤어밴드를 했고, 그 후 제2차 세계대전이 지나고 1949年에는 무릎위 30cm 정도되는 짧은 스커트를 디자인 해 놓았다. 1950年 以後 원피스 등 多樣해져 가고 있다.
1968年 원피스형 미니가 등장했고, 1972年에는 팔과 다리가 완전히 露出되었다.
이와같은 側面에서 우리나라 商品과 外國 商品을 比較 分析하여 보면 外國 製品은 흰색, 빨강, 파랑, 회색 그 외에 파스텔調등 여러 가지로 色彩가 多樣하며 그 形態面에서 스커트와 上衣, one-piece Shorts와 上衣등이 나오고 上衣는 V-neck line, pull-over 形, 스커트는 Culotte, Wrap around skirt 등 多樣하다.
素材는 綿이 主가 된 pile 織이나 Single knit 織, 그리고 polyester Jersey 등이 使用되고 있다.
우리나라 製品은 1970年 以後 大槪 有名 Brand와 技術導入으로 比較的 優秀한 品質의 製品 生産이 되고 있으나, 色相이 鮮明하지 못한 경우가 있고, 니트 製品이 드물고, 디자인이 模倣된 것이 많다.
이러한 검토를 걸쳐 本 硏究에서 테니스 웨어의 디자인은 白色을 主調色으로 하여 Red, pink나 Sexual Deep계의 色相이 밝은 配色 效果로 테니스 코트에 맞게 審美性을 表現한 디자인을 總合的으로 提示하였다.
本 硏究에 提示된 디자인은 從來의 保守的이고, 劃一的인 스타일에서 벗어나 모던하고 유니크한 곳에 重點을 두어 디자인 했으며 素材는 國內에서 生産된 polyester Jersey, 100% 綿의 inter lock이나 pile 織, Velour, T/C등에 部分的으로 가죽 등으로 트리밍하였다.
本 硏究에서 테니스 웨어를 위한 디자인은 원피스 3점, 트래이닝 2점, 티샤츠와 스커트 3점, 티샤츠와 숏츠 2점 등 모두 10점을 製作하였고, 그 過程은 素材를 添附한 후, 圖式畵, 製圖 및 모델에게 着用하여 寫眞으로 提示하였다.;As a result of rapid social change in social structure, the population of leisure sports has increased and the leisure industry has grown remarkably in recent years. The 1986 Asian Games and the 1988 Seoul Olympic games will play important roles in getting more people interested in sports.
In this context a study of sports wear is not only timely but also the most desirable topic to be investigated.
To improve the design and the quality of the sports wear in the competitive international market, more systematic and scientific research is needed urgently.
In the first part of this study the origin of tennis and a historical change of the tennis wear were surveyed. The 14 different tennis wear items from home and abroad have been selected for this study. After a discussion of merits and defects of each items suggestions for improvements were made. For a better design of the tennis wear we should not overlook a functional aspect.
The first appearance of the tennis wear was made in 1800's by French nobles. With the opening of the Davis Cup tournament games in 1900's, tennis has become one of the favorite sports among people and people have taken interest in tennis wear.
In 1881 the bustle type and the S letter jacket were a popular lady's tennis wear which was a simplified everyday wear. In 1920's as sleeves and the length of the skirt became shorter the arms and the knees were exposed. Since 1950's the form of the tennis wear showed variety of forms from one-piece to two-piece style.
When we compare the Korean tennis wear with that of the foreign countries, the latter is richer in color and style. White, red, blue, grey and pastel color are popular colors. One-piece, short pants, V-neck, pull-over, culotte skirt and wrap a round skirt became established styles of the tennis wear and loved by the general public.
The cotton with pile, single knit, polyester and Jersey are most widely used material.
Since 1970 the sports wear industry in Korea has succeeded in producing better tennis wear with technical assistance from foreign countries. But the Korean tennis wear is still in its infancy in color and design.
In this study an attempt was made to make an improvement in the Korean tennis wear. Using white as a base color I tried make good combination with Oriental bright red, pink, old dark or sexual deep which gives the best coloring effect and a sense of unity. Aesthetic aspect as well as functional aspect of the tennis wear was taken into consideration.
I tried to be free from comservative and standardized style and try to show modern and unique design. Materials used are Jersey, 100% cotton interlock, pile, velour, T/C, silk, leather produced in Korea.
I designed 10 different tennis wear and they were shown in the pictures.論文槪要 = ⅶ

Power-Efficient Cell Coverage Control in a CDMA System
In cellular wireless system, transmitted power is regulated to provide each user an acceptable connection while limiting the interference from other users. In this work, we integrate power budgeting and base station assignment. In the context of CDMA system, we minimize the total transmitted power subject to maintaining an individual target CIR for each mobile and base station. We formulate the optimization model and a solution method is proposed

학위논문(박사) - 한국과학기술원 : 화학과, 2004.2, [ iv, 183 p. ]We have established a highly enantioselective total synthesis of the natural (+)-lasonolide A 1 via Wittig reaction of aldehyde 218 with phosphonium salt 43b. Intramolecular Horner-Emmons reaction was used for synthesis of macrocyclization. Coupling of upper and bottom THP rings has been synthesized via Julia’s olefination of benzothiazole sulfone 136 and unsaturated aldehyde 212. The synthesis of 136 was achieved via diastereoselective differentiation to creat the quaternary asymmetric center. Synthetic route of 212 has been developed including asymmetric crotylation followed by a diastereoselective allylation, cyclization via Michael addition to form the two cis-2,6-disubstituted THP’s.
For the synthesis maltophilin, a stereoselective synthesis of a tricyclic hydrocarbon subunit 336 has been studied. Mn(III)-based oxidative free radical cyclization of triolefinic β-ketoester was chosen for the synthesis of 336. An enantioselective synthetic route to β-ketoester has been developed via several crucial steps, including vinylation of unsaturated lactone, stereoselective alkylation, decarboxylation of cyanoacetate moiety, and aldol condensation.
For the synthesis of acridinomycin A, tetronic acid derivative 421 and β-ketoester 423 was synthesized efficiently via coupling of 2-methyltetronate derivative 414and unsaturated lactone 274. Intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction was attempted to produce phenol 426 from furan moiety 427. With the prepared 2-acetoxyfuran 455, intermolecular Diels-Alder reaction with dienophile rac-259was accomplished to produce 456. But the preparation of diene 455 still remains improved.한국과학기술원 : 화학과
Power-Efficient Cell Coverage Control in a CDMA System
CDMA 시스템의 가장 큰 특징은 모든 기지국이 동일한 주파수 대역을 공유하여 사용할 수 있다는 점이며, 시스템의 전체 용량은 기지국 및 이동국이 받는 간섭에 의해서 제한받는다는 것이다. 따라서, 각 기지국과 이동국이 받는 간섭을 최소화하여 시스템의 용량을 최대화 할 수 있도록 각 기지국의 통화권(Coverage) 및 이동국과 기지국의 송출전력을 설계하여야 한다. 이와 같은 취지에서 본 연구에서는 전체 서비스 지역을 작은 단위 지역으로 나누었을때 각 단위지역에 있는 이동국이 어떤 기지국에 접속하여야 하며, 이때 이동국의 송출전력과 기지국이 각 이동국에게 송출할 전력을 결정하는 문제에 대해 다룬다

Further more, the mobile radio systems are being expected to provide multiple services with different characteristics such as handoff and new calls, voice and packet data calls. These have generated some technical challenges to be over come, among them the call control of a variety of call types have been becoming critical procedures for the spectrum-efficient design and operation in mobile radio networks. Furthermore, increasing demand for wireless Internet services makes it necessary that the service providers is to design a new system and network as efficient as possible. 1xEV technology provides a cost effective and high performance and solution for typical users and system providers. It offers high-speed packet data to mobile users, which overlays with CDMA networks and is optimized for packet data networks.
First, we considers a call control policy at a cell, which gives priority to handoff calls over new calls while meeting the overall call quality for a CDMA system with a single carrier. New calls are first under the access control of the threshold type, and then receive services together with the handoffed calls but under the outage restriction guaranteeing a prespecified call quality. An optimization model with such quality-guaranteeing constraints is formulated, which is to determine the threshold value for each cell, minimizing the new call blocking probability. A solution heuristic is proposed, with which a number of test runs are conducted under two different traffic environments. The results reveal the usefulness of our control scheme in that handoff calls are given an appropriate level of priority over new calls while the system capacity is effectively utilized.

학위논문(석사) - 한국과학기술원 : 화학과, 2000.2, [ ii, 50 p. ]For the Synthesis of tetramic acid component of dihydromaltophilin 12 and maltophilin 13, stereoselective syntheses of tetramic acid - contained phosphonates 123a and 123b were accomplished.
The key features of the scheme include the regioselective aminolysis of 2,3-epoxy alcohols 76a and 76b, and stereoselective Dieckmann cyclization to afford tetramic acids. Aminolysis of 2,3-epoxy alcohols 76a and 76b proceeded smoothly with titanium cation - mediated ring opening. Dieckmann cyclization of amides 122a and 122b was achieved using tetrabutylammonium fluoride.
A synthetic modification of lovastatin 38 to simvastatin 42 was examined. Methylation of butyrate group in lovastatin 38 was unsuccessful. Hydrolysis of lovastatin 38 to diol 133 could be achieved with lithium hydroxide, but the reaction proceeded inefficiently in terms of chemical yield and reaction time. Radio Network Design in an Urban Micro-Cellular CDMA system
This paper addresses a radio network design problem in an urban micro-cellular CDMA system. Given the data of potential sites of base stations and path loss value between the base station and mobile stations, the objective of this problem is to locate base stations so as to minimize the siting cost while keeping the acceptable path loss value on the service area. We develop an efficient algorithm for solving the problem, and computational experiments are conducted to show the practicality of the proposed design method
