Actual situation of weight reduction for each competition in collegiate ama-teur wrestlers : trial of checking condition by using simple hemoglobin mon-itoring equipment

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between annual situation of weight reduction pre-paring for some amateur wrestling competitions and analyzed results of changing in values of hemoglobin (Hb) checked by simple Hb monitoring equipment. The participants were five collegiate amateur wrestlers. From the results obtained in the present study, we conjectured that Hb monitoring could be utilized as one of the condi-tioning indexes of performance preservation through the period of weigh reduction preparing for amateur wrestling competitions
