Popularization of intervention radiology (IVR) procedures has recently been reported some radiation injury. Almost all of cine angiography unit uses image intensifier (I.I.). Deterioration of I.I. brings increase in dose with time for patients and staffs in cardiac catheterization laboratories. This study evaluated measure of conversion factor in I.I. with time. A cine angiography unit was used. Fluoroscopy (X-ray tube current, voltage : 1mA, 70 kV and 9-inch I.I.) were also used. Measure of conversion factor in I.I. is compared with by user and by maker (Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation). The first data was measured using dosimeter with ionization chamber (9015 : Radocal) and luminancemeter (BM-7 : Topcon). The second data was taken using pocket chamber (PDM-107 : Aloka) and luminancemeter (LDM-9901 : Gigaheltz-Optik). The judged results by both user and maker show, in almost all part, the same. Measurement of conversion factor of I.I. with regular intervals is important for decreasing dose intensity in IVR
