    An Algorithm of Network Loss Ratio Based on Multicast

    网络层析是近年新兴的一个网络研究领域,它利用端到端的性能测试结果推导网络内部性能特征或拓扑结构,克服了传统网络测量技术的一些缺陷。丢包率层析的主要方法是利用最大似然估计(MlE),但是计算复杂度高且计算时间较长;基于伪似然估计(PMlE)方法可以较快估计各链路丢包率,但是在非叶节点链路的误差较大。为了克服以上缺点,本文基于多播网络的端对端测量,结合MlE和PMlE提出一种推算网络内部各链路的丢包率算法。通过仿真证实该算法估测的结果能真实地反应网络内部丢包趋势,在推测精度较好的情况下,计算量减少,计算复杂度降低。Network tomography is an emerging network research area in recent years.They use end-to-end performance measurement result to derive network internal performance distribution or topology,thus it overcomes traditional network measurement's shortcomings.The arithmetic described in this paper is based on multicast network tomography end-to-end measurement,computing the loss rate.Through comparison and simulation,it is obtained that the loss inferences correctly show the network loss trend

    Algorithm for Network Delay Estimation Based on End-to-End Data Moment

    现有时延层析算法大多考虑离散时延模式,但算法效率比较低。为此,提出一种连续时延估计算法,假定链路时延为某参数的函数分布,根据多播特征并基于端到端数据的矩,利用非线性最小二乘法估计链路时延分布函数的参数,并在每步迭代中用一维牛顿搜索确定最优步长,达到快速收敛。应用MATlAb和nS2仿真软件得到的数据表明,该算法所需的存储量少,算法简单且效率较高。The up-to-date algorithms on delay tomography are based on the discrete delay mode,but it is low efficiency in this mode.This paper proposes a continuous delay mode,whose delay is distributed on a function with some parameters.According to the rule of multicast and based on end-to-end moments,the parameters can be estimated using nonlinear least squares and the best step is chosen by the one-dimension Newton search in iteration.Experimental results on Matlab and NS2 simulation show that the algorithm needs little storage and is simple with high efficiency.国家自然科学基金资助项目(41074077;40774065

    〔報告〕日光の歴史的建造物で採取した虫糞調査:シバンムシ科甲虫各種間の虫糞形状比較

    Since life period of adult Anobiidae is short in general,it is difficult to find live adults during visual survey on site. However,holes and insect feces can sometimes give information of activity and probable species. Feces of major wood-boring insects were collected in the large-scale survey of historic buildings in Nikko conducted in 2010. Five species of Anobiidae were found in the survey: Priobium cylindricum, Trichodesma japonicum, Sculptotheca hilleri, Hadrobregmus pertinax and Oligomerus japonicus. Insect feces of 4 of these species were collected from damaged wood and observed. It was found that feces of Priobium cylindricum and those of Hadrobregmus pertinax are similar and they appear powdery to the naked eye but a closer look reveals them to be irregular in shape. Feces of Trichodesma japonicum are very similar to feces of Nicobium hirtum, but generally bigger in size. Feces of Sculptotheca hilleri also appear powdery to the naked eye, and when they were observed under a microscope it was found that many were globular shaped. As feces of Sculptotheca hilleri have characteristic shape and size when compared with those of other species of Anobiidae,it is likely to identify them from feces alone. Information other than those of feces, such as the sizes of holes and distribution of insects, need to be taken into consideration when making more precise identification although insect feces can provide good clues for insect identification

    A Case of Growing Teratoma Syndrome; Long-Term Control Accomplished by Systemic Interferon Therapy with Adequate Local Therapies

    A 31-year-old man came to our hospital with chest pain and was diagnosed to have a left testicular tumor with metastasis to the lung, and cervical, mediastinal, and retroperitoneal lymph nodes. Left orchiectomy was performed, and histological diagnosis was seminoma. Serum tumor markers were normalized after 3rd-line chemotherapy, but lymph node metastases were still enlarged. Then the cervical lymph node was excised, and histologically diagnosed as mature teratoma. Based on these results, we diagnosed this case as growing teratoma syndrome. Since the whole metastasis was too large to be completely excised, we started systemic interferon alfa-2b (Intron ○R A) administration. The metastasis initially responded to the therapy by 20% reduction in size and remained stable thereafter. However, the mediastinal lesion caused obstructive pneumonia, which was bronchoscopically resected. At the time of 12 years after the initial presentation, the tumors are well controlled with stable disease or only modest increase

    A Case Report of a Large Epulis Gravidarum

    In this paper a case of epulis gravidarum appeared in a 26-year-old woman, 10 months pregnant, has been presented The tumor, hen\u27s egg-sized, having a tendency to bleed easily, attached with a pedicle to the buccal gingiva of the left molar region of the mandible. The epulis was excised with adjacent decayed teeth at 1 month after parturition. Postoperative course was uneventful and have showed no recurrence 6 months after the operation. It was diagnosed histopathologically as epulis fibrosa teleangiectaticum
