The major episodes described in the present report are as follows. A computer room for student-education and a college Website started in 1995. The development of a system for students\u27 admission has begun since 1996. In 2000, we established server computers for WWW, SMTP, DNS, proxy, fire-wall and like that, a local area network system in the campus and the Internet with an optical communication. A system for student records has started to operate since 2002. In 2004, a server for intranet resources with collaborative software and a webmail server were established. We developed an online electronic medical recording system specified for nursing education media in 2007. Today, we are in the situation of moving toward the next generation computing technology and should catch up the trend

Most of the students (78%) were interested in natural science and almost all the students in biological fields. The results suggested they have an sufficient common knowledge of science such as the velocity of light and the composition of the earth atmosphere, however, might have defficient knowledge about physics and chemistry necessary to understand the nursing fields, such as temperature, ions, and atomic weight and molecular weight. The results should be fed back to the contents of scientific subjects of the college
