Study on Radiation Characteristic and Dynamic Behavior of Atmospheric Pressure Glow Discharge Plasma in Air

Radiation characteristic measurement of low temperature plasma under atmospheric pressure
本文在自行设计的放电电极板上实现常压下的空气辉光放电(APGD),产生出一薄层的低温等离子体,利用光栅单色仪及测试声强和温度的仪器对所产生的等离子体的光辐射、声辐射和热辐射特性进行实验测量。数据处理后的分析结果表明,该APGD等离子体的光辐射强度及声辐射和热辐射强度,以及总辐射能量基本上都与电极板的加载功率呈线性关系,而且各种形式的能量各占比例是一定的。研究结果表明可以通过沿面APGD的辐射特性与加载功率之间的关系来描述APGD等离子体的特性,以及控制等离子体的产生量。A thin layer of the low temperature plasma due to Atmospheric Pressure Glow Discharge (APGD) in air was produced on the planar surface of designed electrode plates. The optical, acoustic and thermal radiation characteristics of the produced plasma were measured in experiment with a grating spectrograph system, a sound level meter and a non-contact thermometer, respectively. The analysis results from the data processed indicate that the intensity of the optical, acoustical and thermal radiation of the APGD plasma grow linearly up with the increasing power applied to the electrode plate, which demonstrates that the total radiance varies linearly with the power and that every kind of radiant energy has a proper proportion. The study shows that it is feasible to describe the behavior of the APGD plasma and to control it quantitatively by the obtained relationship between its radiation characteristic and applied power.福建省自然科学基金(A0410001
Experiment on Optical Radiation Characteristic of Low Temperature Plasma at Atmospheric Pressure
采用常压空气辉光放电(APGD)技术在自行设计的电极板表面产生出一薄层低温等离子体,并利用光谱诊断光学系统对所产生的等离子体进行光辐射特性实验测量;实验获取了几种电极板在几个不同加载功率下的辐射光谱,并对光谱的辐射强度进行平均化处理分析。分析结果表明此沿面APGD的光辐射强度与加载功率之间存在线性增加的关系,且随电极板静态电容的增加而增强。该方法可以为控制APGD等离子体的产生量提供一种简便可行的途径。The experiment on the optical radiation performance of a low temperature plasma due to atmospheric pressure glow discharge(APGD) in air was carried out in the present paper.A set of APGD devices were created successfully and a thin layer of plasma can be produced on the planar surface of designed electrode plate.The measurement was carried out on the optical radiation characteristic of the plasma with a grating spectrograph system.The investigation was made to several different electrode plates.The radiation spectra of several electrode plates with different power loaded were acquired.The data obtained show that the APGD optical radiation intensity grows linearly with the applied power,and increases with the static capacitance of the electrode plate.The study proves that it is feasible to control APGD plasma quantitatively and effectively by using the obtained relationship.福建省自然科学基金(A0410001)资助项
Study on Spectral Measurement of Low Temperature Plasma
采用光谱测量法研究低温等离子体特性具有突出的优点。阐述了目前光谱测量用于低温等离子体研究的原理和分析方法,将运用光谱描述等离子体的方法概括成直接分析和间接分析两类。本文采用光谱测量的方法对常压空气辉光放电(APGD)等离子体进行了研究,得到了APGD等离子体光辐射特性随所加功率呈线性关系的结果,为常压空气辉光放电等离子体的光谱诊断建立了基础。The spectral measurement has prominent advantages in the characterization of low temperature plasma.The direct and indirect analyzing methods are commonly used in the describing the plasma.The relevant study on spectral measurement of APGD plasma was described simply,which provides some references for studying low temperature plasma with spectral measurement.福建省自然科学基金资助项目(A0410001

【中文文摘】常压空气辉光放电(APGD)等离子体应用广泛,但对其参数的描述及定量控制尚无可行的方法.为此,设计了常压下空气辉光放电装置,在电极板平面上产生了一薄层等离子体;根据等离子体具有辐射特性,用光栅单色仪对沿面APGD光辐射特性进行测试,获其辐射光谱;对非均匀、非稳定的APGD等离子体光辐射强度进行平均化处理;数据处理结果表明光谱面积积分平均值和光谱最高峰值平均值随APGD加载功率变化呈线性关系.研究结果说明用APGD的光辐射特性与加载功率之间的关系来控制等离子体的产生量是可行的,为有效利用APGD等离子体提供一种简便的途径.
【英文文摘】Although atmospheric pressure glow discharge(APGD) is applied in many fields,there is no effective method to describe its characteristic parameters and use it quantitatively,for which something has been done in the paper.The device of APGD in air has been designed and it can produce a thin layer plasma on planar surface.According to the radiation characteristic of plasma,the radiation spectra of the APGD plasma have been acquired by Sp-750i grating spectrograph.The measured optical radiation intensity of non2uniform and unsteady APGD plasma was processed averagely. The result indicates that the area integrating in average under the
spect ral curve and the highest spect ral peak value in average vary linearly with the power applied to plane of APGD. It also shows
that it is feasible to cont rol the plasma quantitatively by the relationship between APGD optical radiation characteristic and applied power. This provides a convenient approach for utilizing APGD plasma effectively.福建省自然科学基金(A0410001)资
