The findings show that online collaboration enhances students' writing abilities by facilitating constructive feedback, encouraging writing for real audiences, and promoting deeper learning through diverse perspectives. The study concludes that integrating these strategies into language teaching can significantly improve students' writing skills and overall language proficiency, preparing them for real-world communication. Future research should optimize these strategies and address implementation challenges.</span></p&gt

Invisible Scholars: Undocumented Students in Higher Education

It is estimated that in the year 2000, approximately 2.5 million undocumented youth under age 18 were living in the U.S. and each year, over 65,000 undocumented students graduate from U.S. high schools. This session provided an in-depth examination of the challenges facing undocumented students who seek a college degree. The panelists offered multiple perspectives through the lens of a college student, a former high school teacher, a public school administrator, and a university professor.
