DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SKILLS AMONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN
The purpose of the research was to explore the development of social skills among elementary school children and identify similarities and differences based on socio-demographic characteristics. The research was conducted in 2017. This study used a sample of 1639 fifth and eighth-grade students from 17 primary schools in the area of the Central Bosnia Canton. The obtained findings provided significant results. The high level of self-assessment of social competence was determined. The results also showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the respondents in the assessment of social competence with regard to the gender and grade of the students. The correlation between social competence and students’ school performance was determined. These findings will have their practical application in teaching process, and help teachers and students in the development of social competence through teaching process.

IMPACT OF IAS 19 ACTUARIAL CALCULATIONS’ ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE: EVIDENCE FROM PUBLIC ENTERPRISES IN FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
International Accounting Standard 19 - Employee Benefits outlines the accounting requirements for employee benefits, including short-term benefits, post-employment benefits, other long-term benefits and termination benefits. The standard establishes the principle that the cost of providing employee benefits should be recognized in the period in which the benefit is earned by the employee, rather than when it is paid or payable, and outlines how each category of employee benefits is measured. Aim of the paper is to determine the degree of IAS 19 implementation in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its impact on financial performance of public enterprises. Since no significant negative impact of the implementation of IAS 19 on the financial performance has been proven, it could be recommended that the observed entities consider all its advantages and thus realize the potential benefits for both, the company and the employees
Socijalne promjene stanovništva tuzlanskog kraja (1878.-1941.)
The Tuzla region as the individually, cultural, political and economic unity, which is communicationally linked to the other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was highly interesting for the neighbouring states. The Tuzla region was developing in the economic as well as and in communicational, millitary and cultural area during the long lashing period (1474.-1878.) when Tuzla was a constitutional part of, then called, Turkish Empire. Austro-Hungaria became interested in the region soom as the Turkish Empire showed signs of the decline of its power. In 1878, following the Berlin conference, Austro-Hungaria occupied Bosnia and Herzegovina together with the Tuzla region. Since then, the fast economic developement, which directly affected (influenced) urbanization and emergence of a new social relations, has become. Tuzla becomes the center of administrative-bureaucratic, millitary, cultural, religions and other institutions of a regional and communal level. All these happenings have changed, among other things, and the social structure of Tuzla population
EFFECTS OF APPLICATION OF EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT ON ASSISTANCE TO CHILDREN IN SCHOOL EDUCATION
The future upbringing and education is based on the successful and quality building of the partnership
between family and the school in which the child is in the centre. Collaboration represents a
joint action and negotiation aimed at finding solutions, or a new, common starting point. Inclusion
of parents in the life and work of the school is one of the most important factors that influence the
success of a child. One way to involve parents is to train them to help children in school-based
learning through school-based programmes. Because of the great importance of parental help, it
was important to explore how this help could be more effective. The aim of the research is to
determine the effects of experimental treatment on children in school learning. The sample of
respondents consists of 96 parents of pupils of the primary school "Turbe" Central Bosnia Canton.
Out of the total number of subjects, 49 make the experimental group and 47 respondents are in the
control group. The experimental group was involved in an experimental program aimed at training
parents to help children with school learning. The results of the research have shown that experimental
treatment positively affects the help of parents to children in school learning. Workshops as
a way of working with parents proved to be effective in both genders (male, female) of respondents,
but also with parents with different levels of education as well as different working status
Lepton Flavour Universality in decays
The evidence for Lepton Flavour Universality (LFU) violation in semileptonic
-decays has been rising over the past few years. Relying on generic
effective field theory (EFT) results, it has been shown that models addressing
the -anomalies necessarily lead, at one-loop, to deviations from LFU in
decays at the few per-mil level. Once a (renormalizable) UV model is
specified, the leading-log EFT result receives finite corrections from the
matching at the UV scale. We discuss such corrections in a motivated class of
models for the B-anomalies, based on an extended gauge sector. In this scenario, we obtain precise
predictions for the effective -boson and -boson couplings to leptons in
terms of the masses and couplings of the new heavy fields. We confirm a few
per-mil deviation from universality, within reach of future high-precision
experiments.Comment: Contribution to the 56th Rencontres de Moriond and to La Thuile 2022

Spectrophotometric Determination of L-Ascorbic Acid in Pharmaceuticals Based on Its Oxidation by Potassium Peroxymonosulfate and Hydrogen Peroxide
Two new, accurate, precise, and sensitive spectrophotometric methods were developed for
the assay of L-ascorbic acid in pharmaceutical preparations. The determination of L-ascorbic acid was
based on its oxidation by potassium peroxymonosulfate (method A) and hydrogen peroxide in the
presence of Cu(II) as a catalyst (method B). The molar absorptivities were found to be 1.48×104 and
1.06×104 L mol–1 cm–1 for methods A and B, respectively. Beer\u27s law was obeyed in the concentration
range of 0.65–11.20 μg mL–1 for method A and 0.51–16.00 μg mL–1 for method B. Other compounds
commonly found in vitamin C and multivitamin products did not interfere with the determination of
L-ascorbic acid.. The proposed methods were successfully applied for the determination of L-ascorbic acid
in pharmaceutical formulations. The results obtained with the proposed methods showed good agreement
with those given by the titrimetric method using iodine
Critical success factors in insurance companies
The topic of this research are critical success factors (CSFs) with a focus on factors that constitute the basis for the success of insurance companies. There are no critical success factors common to all enterprises, all areas and all activities. In insurance companies, key performance indicators primarily depend on the service quality and the level of customer satisfaction. In contemporary business conditions, the relevance of the service has been increasingly important. Therefore, the concept named 5P is suggested, standing for purpose, pride, partnership, protection and personalization, as these five factors define the requirements that must be met, if the insurer’s service is to be perceived to be of high-quality, achieve client satisfaction and build client loyalty. The paper presents a research into the perception of insurance service and factors of insurance quality in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) . Research results correspond to the 5P concept and reveal the security factor as the most important factor for the insured. A fast and efficient payment of claims, the attitude of the salespeople toward the insured, described in terms of respectful and knowledgeable staff, as well as the clarity of promotion and the availability of insurance service also ranked high
LFU violations in leptonic τ decays and B-physics anomalies
We present a complete analysis of Lepton Flavor Universality (LFU) violations in leptonic τ decays in motivated models addressing the B-physics anomalies, based on the gauge group. We show that the inclusion of vector-like fermions, required by B-physics data, leads to sizable modifications of the leading-log results derived within an Effective Field Theory approach. In the motivated parameter-space region relevant to the B-physics anomalies, the models predict a few per-mil decrease of the effective W-boson coupling to τ, within the reach of future experiments
