Medicamentos Veterinários: contextualizando o ensino de Química Orgânica / Veterinary Medicines: contextualizing the teaching of Organic Chemistry

O presente artigo trata de uma experiência didática desenvolvida junto a estudantes do primeiro período do curso de Medicina Veterinária, em que se relacionou a Química Orgânica com medicamentos veterinários. A abordagem deste trabalho envolveu os estudantes na pesquisa das fórmulas estruturais de medicamentos veterinários. A metodologia provocou nos estudantes ummaior interesse pela Química em seu cotidiano. Como resultado desta investigação, várias funções orgânicas entre os compostos presentes nos medicamentos estudados foram focados e explorado, tais como, álcoois, carbonílicos, derivados halogenados, compostos fenólicos, entre outros.This article deals with a teaching experience with students developed the first period of thecourse of Veterinary Medicine, in which organic chemistry and veterinary medicines were related.The approach in this work involved the students in researching the structural formulas of veterinarymedicines. A greater interest arose in the students for chemistry in their daily lives as a result ofthe methodology used. As a result of this investigation, several organic functions amongst the compounds present in the studied medicines were focused and explored like alcohols, carbonyl,halogenated derivatives, phenolic compounds, among others

Inovação no setor industrial metal mecânico: uma análise a partir do Característico da Inovação Setorial (CIS)

Innovation can be considered an inducer for companies to stand out against competitors and strategic for increasing organizational competitiveness. Although it generates contributions in companies of any size, there are leaders and entrepreneurs who are resistant to the implementation of a culture of innovation. One way to overcome this resistance is to generate indicators that measure the impact that may arise from innovative actions. In some sectors, such as the metalworking industry, such indicators are very important, since they may allow better channeling of financial resources and the improvement of employee performance. Thus, in this article we show how the Characteristic of Sectorial Innovation (CSI) was used to identify innovative dimensions that characterize the metalworking industry and receive greater attention and investment by entrepreneurs
