Telemedicina en glaucoma basada en la estrategia supraumbral C-20-1 de la perimetría de duplicación de frecuencia

Propósito: Evaluar la capacidad del test C-20-1 de la perimetría de duplicación de frecuencia (PDF) para detectar defectos glaucomatosos en el campo visual de la población general. Métodos: Doscientos cuarenta y tres ojos de 122 participantes fueron seleccionados prospectivamente en un centro óptico. A todos ellos, se les realizó una medida de la presión intraocular (PIO) con un tonómetro de aire Topcon CT-80 y un examen del campo visual con la PDF en la misma sesión. Según los resultados obtenidos se clasificó a los sujetos en normales, hipertensos oculares y sospechosos de glaucoma. Los sujetos con PIO >21 mmHg (en 3 visitas repetidas) y/o PDF anormal fueron remitidos para exploración oftalmológica.Resultados: Se incluyeron 61 mujeres y 61 varones. La edad media fue de 54,24 ± 10,82 años y la PIO media fue de 16,11 ± 3,15 mmHg, sin diferencias significativas por sexo ni edad. El tiempo medio de realización de la estrategia C-20-1 de la PDF fue de 44,7 ± 6,8 segundos. Tres pacientes fueron remitidos para exploración oftalmológica compatible con glaucoma, de los cuales, uno fue clasificado como normal, otro como hipertenso ocular y otro como glaucoma perimétrico. Conclusiones: En el despistaje del glaucoma perimétrico, el porcentaje de verdaderos positivos del test C-20-1 de la PDF en una población no glaucomatosa fue del 33,3% (falsos negativos: 66,7%). La PDF fue una prueba inocua y rápida de realizar por lo que podría ser utilizada como prueba funcional para el despistaje de glaucoma en una población no seleccionada

The Third Workshop on Population of the RDBES Data Model (WKRDB-POP3)

The aims of this workshop were to explain the data model developed for the commercial fisheries Regional Database and Estimation System (RDBES), assist in populating it with real data for the second test data call for the RDBES, and encourage participants to take part in ongoing testing of the RDBES data submission system. This report documents the progress that participants have done to prepare their institutes for future use of the RDBES system. Some issues with data conversion have been identified and are documented in this report. None of the identified issues are thought to be serious impediments to moving forward with the RDBES development according to the roadmap decided by the Steering Committee of the Regional Fisheries Database in 2020. The RDBES Core Group (the group of people developing the RDBES data model) and ICES Data Centre will look at the results of this workshop and either respond to individual questions or adapt the data model and documentation as required. The workshop concluded and reported before the deadline of the test data call. For a complete test of the data model, all participants were encouraged to complete the data call. A report on the degree of completion of the data call may be expected from WGRDBESGOV which convenes after the data call deadline

RAWMATCARDS : Critical Raw Materials Cards Game

Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) are those raw materials which are economically and strategically important for the European economy but have a high-risk associated with their supply. This document describes a card game and provides all the material to play. The goal of the activity is to learn the importance of critical raw materials, their properties and their applications. Teachers can use a detailed description of each of the elements (with information about their mineral source, production, economic importance, properties and main uses) and Kahoot! questions to test the knowledge of their students. Students work in groups, matching cards (property and use) to guess which elements made a jet engine, a solar panel, a phone screen and many more items necessary in our everyday life
