Perancangan Alat Pengiris Mucuna Pruriens Menggunakan Metode Reverse Engineering Di UKM Tempe Keripik Sri Wening
The process of slicing raw beans of Mucuna pruriens in fermented soybean chips at Sri Wning’s home industry was wasted time and cost. The slicing process took ± 2 hours per kilograms and paid 10,000 rupiah per kilograms for one expert cutter. The purpose of this research was to designed and made Mucuna pruriens slicer, analyzed the difference of production process time and cost before although after using the tool. This research was conducted with reverse engineering method. Mucuna pruriens slicer was a knife with two blades which slice vertically 2 mm of thickness and diameter was 280 mm, diameter of pulley movers was 58 mm, size of the pulley driven was 30.48 mm, electric dynamo power (¼ Hp), spin wheel (1400 rpm), voltage of the slicer was 110 / 220 V, total dimensions of the slicer was 500x310x590 mm with ± 19 kilograms of weight. The slicing speed from 2 mm / second to 40 mm / sec, affect the time of each production process (10 kg) from 9310 minutes to 8170 minutes, thus reducing monthly production cost from Rp 6,973,500,00 to Rp 6,119,908, 00. So, the application of slicer for Rp 2,530,000,00 could save each production time and cost every month 12,3% with return of appliance investment after 3 months usage
Perancangan Desain Gitar Elektrik Senar 8 (TS-8) Dengan Kombinasi Perangkat Smartphone Sebagai Virtual Efek Gitar Menggunakan Metode Reverse Engineering
ABSTRAK
Gitar elektrik merupakan suatu alat instrumental yang banyak digunakan dalam bermusik, karena dengan gitar elektrik musik yang dimainkan akan semakin bervariasi. Itu terjadi karena adanya perangkat pendukung yaitu efek pedal yang digunakan sebagai pengaturan suara dari gitar elektrik yang dimainkan. Dengan perkembangan perangkat smartphone dan aplikasi yang ada di platform android maupun IOS, para developer membuat terobasan baru dengan menciptakan aplikasi virtual efek gitar yang bisa digunakan layak efek pedal dengan hasil suara yang tidak jauh berbeda dengan aslinya. Namun gitar elektrik saat ini dengan jumlah 6 senar, masih belum bisa menjangkau untuk musik yang membutuhkan nada rendah dan berat, berarti perlu penambahan 2 senar agar bisa mendapatkan karakter suara yang low tunning.
Dengan adanya penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang dan membuat sebuah gitar elektrik dengan jumlah 8 senar dan dikombinasikan dengan perangkat smatphone sebagai virtual efek gitar. Dengan metode reverse engineering, penelitian ini bisa membuat gitar elektrik TS-8 sebagai brand untuk gitar senar 8 lokal serta mendapatkan karakter low tunning dan bisa kombinasikan dengan perangkat smartphone.
Tahapan reverse engineering yaitu pembongkaran produk untuk mencari anatomi dan dimensi pada gitar elektrik, penggabungan komponen antara gitar dan smartphone, melakukan benchmarking produk dan komponen, penentuan konsep desain dan komponen serta pembuatan sketsa rancangan produk. Dan terakhir adalah pembuatan produk gitar elektrik TS-8 dengan kombinasi perangkat smartphone sebagai virtual efek.
Dari hasil penelitian, perancangan dan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa gitar elektrik TS-8 memiliki karakter sound low tunning dengan artikulasi yang jelas dan aspek playbility yang cocok bagi player atau gitaris, serta easy to use dalam pengoperasian smartphone yang disematkan di body gitar yang mudah digunakan pada gitar elektrik TS-8. Dan hasil pengerjaan yang dilakukan oleh luthier wira musica dalam membuat gitar elektrik TS-8 sangatlah baik dan rapi untuk skala home industry, meskipun ada sedikit detail yang kurang rapi tapi tidak mengurangi dari performance dari gitar elektrik TS-8 yang nantinya bisa meningkatkan value dari industri kreatif gitar elektrik lokal.

Coffee has become an extremely fast commodity in recent years. But there are factors in cultural change in the context of coffee, the growing middle class and increasing consumer purchasing power. One of the SMEs working in the coffee sector is Putra Abadi, which turns out to have problems with inefficiency and quite large costs in production costs in the coffee grading and sorting sections. Then there are many target grading that are not caught up because of manual grading/sieving. Therefore, this research focuses on helping UMKM Puta Abadi choose an alternative coffee grading machine as a solution to an existing problem using the AHP method, which after the calculation of the AHP is done, an alternative machine 1 appears as the machine that Putra Abadi's UMKM will later invest in. Otomasi Sistem Parkir Sepeda Motor Berbasis RFID dan Arduino (Studi Kasus: Tempat Parkir Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta)
The automatic parking system is a parking system needed for safety and ease in parking a vehicle. With advances in technology, it is able to make it easier for motorists to park their vehicles without reducing the level of safety. The parking system applied at the UMS Faculty of Engineering parking lot is still conventional (manual recording and checking). Arduino and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology used in the manufacture of automatic parking systems, the parking system currently in use still uses a manual / conventional parking system (recording, manual checking) which is considered less effective. This automatic parking system is equipped with supporting components such as: ultrasonic sensors, camera modules, servo motors, RFID readers, Real Time Clock, and Arduino Mega. In this study aims to create an automatic parking system using Arduino and RFID. The results of this research are the making of a prototype of an automated parking system
Perancangan dan Pembuatan Alat Trainer Otomasi sebagai Media Pembelajaran Otomasi Industri dengan PLC dan Hydraulic System
Industrial Automation UMS up to now has had many changes and developments, both in its learning and teaching systems as well as tools developed independently. Industrial Automation that has prioritized PLC science, in the development of learning currently has several tools that have been used, namely there are traffic lights, namely mini conveyor kit trainer with microcontroller robot arms and electric motors as well pneumatic. Which all these devices have been controlled by Programable Logic Controller (PLC). The automation tool currently in development is still in its entirety, essentially all system tools that can be connected to PLC are not all owned by industrial automation, for which a kit tranner tool will be added which is the development of the previous tool by combining the PLC system with pneumatic system and added with hydraulic systems to become a tool that is an automation scanner that is expected to provide more understanding to students regarding the PLC system in industrial automation which is certainly a provision in the world of work
Perancangan Model Simulasi Sistem Pencatatan Data Otomatis Menggunakan RFID pada Proses Assembling (Studi Kasus: Laboratorium Teknik Industri UMS)
Data recording system in the assembling area which still done manually in many cases, is deemed to be ineffective because it will take a longer time to process the data. Moreover, the process of recording data manually tends to have a higher potential of error, because the process relies heavily on the accuracy of the operators who perform the data recording. Therefore, it is necessary to process the data recording automatically.
The purpose of the implementation of this research is to design a model of a simplification of the real system in the manufacturing industry into a laboratory-scale system Department of Industrial Engineering University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, identifying the system requirements for the application of automated data recording system (automatic data capture) using RFID, as well as designing activities simulation data recording automatically (automatic data capture) using RFID, which is carried out at the Laboratory of Industrial Engineering Department of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
Research on automatic data recording system is implemented by modeling the system. Modeling process begins by conceptualizing the model, namely the inductive approach, by observing a number of symptoms individually, and then formulates it in draft form. Similarly, with this study, in which symptoms occur in assembling activities in a manufacturing industry becomes a reference of the model to be created. After successfully model the state of the real system, then the stages of verification and validation of the model.
Results of this study were successfully modeled 4 types of automated data recording system. Such as determining the type of major components, determining the type of supporting components, determining the number of components in the store, as well as error detecting while input the component. Fourth system is then designed into a program using RFID automatic data recording.

Pengukuran Kinerja Supply Chain Management Mengunakan Metode Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) dan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) (Studi Kasus : CV. Graha Printama Selaras)
This study discusses the measurement of supply chain management performance with the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method at CV. Graha Printama Selaras. SCOR is divided into 5 processes, namely plan, source, make, deliver, and return with general dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, flexibility, and cost. Identification of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) becomes the benchmark for measuring company performance, while the normalization of Snorm de Boer is used to equalize KPI values. This measurement is also supported by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
The results of the performance measurement have 18 KPIs and produce the highest performance in the plan process and the lowest in the deliver process. The value of the company's SCM performance is 91. This research is expected to provide suggestions for improvement by providing strategies to improve company performance
Analisis Swot Dan Bmc Sebagai Strategi Meningkatkan Daya Saing Pada Bisnis Usaha Tempe Keripik (Studi Kasus: Umkm Tempe Keripik Mbak Shanti)
This research was conducted based on the number of industries similar to "Mbak Shanti" Tempe Chips, thus causing stiff competition. Therefore, appropriate strategies are needed to increase competitiveness and develop the "Mbak Shanti" Tempe Chips product business. The method used in this research is SWOT analysis and Business Model Canvas. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and filling out questionnaires to respondents. The results of the study using the SWOT method showed that the Mbak Shanti Tempe Chips MSME is in quadrant I which indicates that the company is experiencing a progressive business situation which means it is in a very profitable situation. MSMEs have strengths that can take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy applied in this condition is to control raw materials before processing and before being distributed to consumers, carry out holiday agendas or lectures/meetings in maintaining a harmonious relationship between the owner and employees, adding employees in the packaging and distribution department as well as tempe cutting equipment and oil drying equipment in order to increase production capacity, provide bonuses and THR regularly and conduct training to increase employee motivation and skills, as well as using social media and marketplaces in selling and promoting products. While the results of the study used the Business Model Canvas method in the form of which elements experienced additions after processing the data in the SWOT analysis. Making the BMC can help visualize ideas or business concepts that are being carried out at UMKM Tempe Kripik "Mbak Shanti"

UD Setyo Nugroho is the one of small industries that processed turmeric found in wonogiri. There’s a problem in the process, there is the process of washing turmeric manually. It feels uneffective and not efficient because need more time to wash and the result is doesn’t clean. The goals of this research is to design the washing turmeric to make time and the result more effective and efficient. This design used branchmarking method.
