PENGARUH KONSENTRASI ASAP CAIR TEMPURUNG KELAPA TERHADAP SIFAT FISIK DAN MUTU KOAGULUM KARET ALAM DARI LATEKS PEKAT
Research on the physical properties of coagulum natural rubber from
concentrated latex using coagulant of coconut sheel liquid smoke have been
investigated. The concentrated latex has values of dry rubber content (DRC), total
solid content (TSC), ammonium content and pH, respectively: 60.24
OPTIMASI ALAT PENEPUNG GULA KRISTAL HASIL GRANULASI MENGGUNAKAN MESIN HAMMER MILL PADA SISTEM PEMBUATAN GULA SEMUT
The main objective of this research is to observe the influence of the number of
hammer swing, sieve diameter, production distribution, and efficiency value. The
material in this research is crystal sugar which is resulted from granulation process.
Then, the material is crushed using hammer mill machine.
Hammer mill is used to reduce the size of the particle by impact, hit, and crush
process. The process will reduce the size of crystal sugar to be powdered coconut
sugar. There are two variations used in this research, the number of hammer swing (3
swing, 4 swing, and 5 swing) and sieve diameter (6mm, 2mm, 1mm).
The optimum condition is obtained when the 5 swing is combined with the
sieve diameter 2mm. The combination obtains the efficiency value up to 80%,
production distribution up to 9.6kg/hour with the particle diameter in average
1000micron or 0.0394inch (18 mesh)
